# Pick It Up - 2
Life has been super busy. This is a weekend of busyness. Busy is now spelled s-a-t-u-r-d-a-y or s-u-n-d-a-y. But it’s been nice, or rather tiringly fulfilling.
Saturday
Morning started off with the usual tuition. Once again I was late. I have been late so many times I feel I should be fired already. But anyway, took 31 down and marked GP essays on the way. Taught tuition and hurried down to church for my first ever music prac! I was late once again and didn’t even have lunch. Reached there at 1.30 instead of 1.00 and the only people who were there were Vanessa, Meredith and ShuJing. I was like… so much for being late… and even worse, the rest came with their lunch… Macs lunch summore. And to my classes, its spelled McDonald’s not MacDonald’s or anything along those wrong lines. Yeah, GP essay marking sickness still manifesting its symptoms.
Soon, we started our prac after a long wait. I think it was like 2.30. Sigh, but I was still excited as it was my first prac. Got the chords from the Chord King(s) and had no where to write the chords down, so I used my GP journal. Haha. My first page now has the chords of Evermore and Mighty to Save in G and E and Awesome God in G.
Practice started and we did Evermore. I wasn’t too confident of the style and we did the intro from the chorus. Then build up to the bridge and finally the verse. Midway through the song, in the heat of a chorus, my acoustic guitar went silent. The pick was stuck. In the string. I managed to break my first pick and everyone was looking at me trying to pluck it out. Embarrassing. Then we did Mighty to Save which was also in E. Pick no. 2 was soon down. Poor green pick broke in two.
One day, two picks, three songs. And after 2 hours of practicing, we finally settled ROUGHLY everything. Fingers were really hurting. But it was going to be service in no time. Rushed home, bathed and got back to church. Gathered in the youth room and soon we went to 2-1 for pre-service prayer. Musicians supposed to have their own prayer but ppl were soon gathering and Meredith started pre-service prayer.
Had a great time prayer and Ps Mark had the 8 names of people at the end and soon it was time for service. Musicians went to practice again before the service and people were not there. So sad for me. My first service and no one was in Hall 3B at 7.30. Oh well, we went to the side room and had our prayer and it was soon time for the real thing. It was my first time.
Service started with Gabriel playing the chorus of Evermore and I was supposed to come in, but I wasn’t sure how so it was VERY messy cuz I was waiting for the rhythm to come from Gabriel but he jz played a progression. So I just came in anyway and things went relatively ok.
The music was apparently very messy and I felt I made so MANY mistakes. But oh well. It was soon over. Dropped my pick through the last song. Then it was preaching by Rachael. No mood to blog anymore cuz im seating in the 30th SC General Meeting. Important issue starts now.Labels: late, YA Music Team

# And Back Again
My keyboard has this back button which I now officially hate. I typed like 1000 words already into my post and it goes back to my blog page. So I shall jz summarize.
Took 170 to Kranji. MRT to BEDOK. 197 to home. 12 to Sun Haven for Pastor Mark's BBQ. There, that took about 1000 words. Just had so much to say. Ah, well, it's just a blog. Life's more important (= And friends too. So I shall now focus on friends.
TRAVEL TIME : 3 hours
Winnie Chew
Very kind of her to sms me multiple times to assure me of the way to Ps Mark's house. I still got lost and became the hopeless wanderer of Upper Changi East Road. But she recued me by coming quickly on her bike and showed me the way. At least 5300 kept me company. Sorry you had to be so hot n sweaty though by cycling uphill. And txs for the directions to Sun Haven. Txs for the talks as well cuz my cell wasn't around.
Bertrand
Nice talking as well, especially about Uni life in NUS, National University of Slopes. Great job in learning how to cycle too. I still need to learn the ramps. Not easy. Txs for getting the food too. Yay. And the big curry bun as well. Nice to have someone accompany me at least halfway back. 24 only, no 12, but that's good. Half in a certain numerical way.
ShuJing
Nice talk as well. Well, you certainly have a short (5) but hard list for guys to live up too. Think I shall start my proper list soon too. Mine was too long the last time when YA did search for intimacy. Fun to talk as well about other tandom stuff as well. Yay (=
Random other YA members
Nice to see you guys enjoying urselves at the BBQ, with the swimming and cooking (txs so much for cooking ya Sunny) and talking and card playing. Yup, Roland doesn't know how to play bridge, Bertrand doesn't know how to play bridge "properly". Blur King. Chellie won with him though. I didn't win... Oh well. The game was still fun and that matters the most. Had a nice time there. Yay.
And next day, it was back to school. My busiest day ever.
Wednesday
Started off normally, although an apparent lack of sleep was still haunting me. Did my unprepared double lesson with 21 and 06 on the A-G articles. Thank God the articles were good ones or I would have died in sorrow and regret. Why would an assignment NOT be in the Resource Package, one would ask. TJ must have an answer somewhere... Arrghhh. Lessons went on quite well. Transparencies were stolen from the tropics. Pens as well. Should return them sometime soon. So irresponsible of me
Got back a tonne a GP essays. Which I had totally no time to mark. I dunno why also today. So went for lunch with the RTs and had quite decent Malay food. Cuz the other stalls were closed... CNY CNY CNY. Oh well, Cheena society. Then headed back for staff conference. Which was a bore and the RTs hid in our little enclave. Got more oranges which i gave to JoJo. Highlight of the Staff Conf was the new personality test, the Strength Finder which TJ will use in place of our MANEly Shirley, the BIG 5. Cheaper, less questions and sounds more meaningful. Can't wait to know my top 5 strengths.
Beverly Leong
Just remembered her. JY, do you? Due to some "mistakes" we started chatting again. Nice to hear updates on Brunei since APYAC 2005 (my most life impacting conference thus far). Am so jealous of you lar... Hillsong London... WAAA... I wanna go there too... Yay, found another person who can MSN at work. Muzikarten sounds so cool. Yup, this wednesday sort of marked an old reunion.
Back to life, staff conference dragged so i had to cab down to Toa Payoh (yay i spelled it correctly!) Cost me $9 but helping is still worth it. Gave 2 hours on Electricy and Current plus a bit of E-Fields. One of my weaker topics. Gotta revise more before the next tuition. Qquickly MRT-ed down to Bedok once again and took 197 to Ngee Ann Primary.
Jayne Tong
You've been a great friend and sorry I missed church twice already when u sms-ed me. Txs for the concern. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't even have discovered Emmanuel. So it was really my pleasure to cover for your tuition classes. Congrats and praise God you passed your test. Too bad the AH-BENG beside you didn't. Hee.. Txs for all the sms-es as well telling me what to do and warning me about the kids. Artif and Xerxis weren't that horrible, thank God or they would have been strangled and killed by me. Txs to Stephanie too for lending me the marker which saved my life. Tuition went smooth. Not sure if they understood though. Sorry ya if that's the case.
That capped a very busy Wednesday. Was so tired I jz bathed and slept. Thursday came sooner than it should have...
Thursday
Was very tired in the morning but still got the verse of the day out to FX n MY. Reached school and did a quick post. Then started my first real torture of RT-ing, marking GP essays... Which was scary cuz it felt like all that I have thought turned out to be almost... NOTHING. JY, even ur brilliant GP sample couldn't save them. Majority failed and almost all gave me a headache. Yup. Major braincell deaths recorded today. But it was much better after lunch txs to one enlightened script. Hint? Who's that freak?? Even Ms N said it was good. So happy. Really made my day. But still, it couldn't revive the brain cells. It was time for 04 in no time. Shall skip this lesson cuz of AP once again with the handing in of work.
Then went back into the staffroom and tried to mark. Just couldn't and Ms N gave me advice to go home and rest. I honestly looked shagged but tried anyway. Went to scroom and slacked a lot and they had an emo meeting so i left. Only to realise dinner was too near to go home now. So i stayed back and met yumei and yingen. Who ponned training to complete the GP essay. So touching. Really. Of course their ICs knew they were doing work lar. Had quite a nice talk and realised we were all brain dead. Sorry Shuming it had to be ur essay that i marked when i was brain dead.
Julian came along and i played random guitar. Karyn Anne Yzelman. Cool 3 word name ^^. Talked abt commonwealth essay. Abt JCs, Maths and random stuff. Hope I helped more than i talked rubbish. Then I had dinner with Julian and walked home. Tired. Slept. Did laundry. Slept. End of Thursday
Friday
Was a much better day. Had lots of lessons though and ran out of time for 21's presentation. Hope they actually were learning ways of writing an argument. And swimming... 21... beginners... late... arrghh... oh well. 04's lesson was better this time. 06 was... echoey. But good, i think. Then had lunch straight away. Then slacked with 21. Talked a lot of stuff. Like Johnathan's. Actually, now that i think abt it, dunno what we talked abt also. So much rubbish. Remember Phildia covering my view of her with a Nike shoebag. Julie's cute, green, zipper earrings. ZhiYuan and Mr Tong.
Ng Di Hui
It was nice meeting you from the start in 07/05. Yeah, nice to know a Malaysian when I first came here. Been great doing projects with you, txs for the tonnes of advice given when i couldn't see the full picture most of the time in sc. Nice talking to you, although it was short. And you got to know the chio bu. Haha. Talked and walked around a bit and soon it was time for Badminton @ Chai Chee CC
Went to staffroom, then scroom cuz i left my wallet there. Played badminton. Stamina better, shots better, only one of the stupid-turn-around-back-shot which i actually got the point! Bought a 100+. Enjoyed myself and walked back to TJ. Crashed Unick but no tbefore seeing 06 under LT1. Poor Jaren too. Swee Liang looked busy. Prasanthi, Jack jack, Karilynn all got themselves busy too *hint, i knew what u guys were up to*
Mr Eugene was in TJ U, I was in smelly, sweaty Nike Tennis top. But it was fun. Talking with dIA_chEESE (capitals right?) and Zhi Yuan. Then the dIA met her Dear Adriano. Got her two pic with him. She was obviously high. But it's always nice to see people high in a happy mood. Aate pizza. Got told to quickly eat the pizza and throw away the cup by an SCIP member. Funny, ironic and ... err.. nvm.
Took a photo, or two with the 21-ers who came. Then sat far back as they moved to the front. The first group was bad. Second item was normal. Third was... Adriano. Sorry Phildia, but his voice wasn't outstanding leh? Fourth, pointless? But enthu nonetheless. Talked with Mr Eugene and Mr Tong. Mr Eugene whacked a student real hard. Hehe. Ouch, but she asked for it. Then she tried whacking her friends. Haha. Zsa Zsa was late. But she didn't enjoy it too much at the start. Apparently the ending was better. Glad she had fun!
Mr Eugene allowed me to hop onto his cab on the way home. Yay. Bathed and went to Jean's. Played mahjong, but onyl 3 games. Watched the rest. Also, I had to learn the chinese numbers for 1 to 9, from a burmese girl. Hahaha. Weird and small world eh? Khant Khant or KK and HH were Jean's colleagues from Kelly's Services. Nice and cheerful bunch of ppl. Better than me at mahjong though cuz even the worst (HH) won at least a game. Me, none... But it was nice talking with them and seeing Jean's Prom pics as well.
Came home and did this long post. Yay, feel accomplished. Busy day tmr. Nitez blogLabels: 04, 06, 21, Adriano, badminton, Bertrand, CNY, Di Hui, GP Essays, Jayne, Johnathan, Julie, Mr Tong, Phildia, ShuJing, Unick, Winnie, Zhi Yuan

# To The Ends of the Earth
Its back. Blogging my entries. Been so busy I really had no time to blog. I mean, travel, eat, travel, eat, ang pao, eat, eat, travel, travel, eat, get the pic? So I just wanna rant a little (relatively speaking of course) of how the days have really travelled past.
Thursday
Day after Valentine's. No idea what happened on that day anymore... Hmmm... Recall going to the GO for a talk with the VP and some ppl. Then was off to beer garden to meet Gabriel. Had a nice talk over... a can of soya beans. This proves I am SO not old yet. Then talked quite a lot which actually surprised me but that's ok, it was a long nice talk abt church, uni, life everything. Then bought dinner and my favourite milk (my choc milk went missing after i got back to Singapore!!! Please return it to me... strawberry one finishing already...) Did laundry (i think) and read newspapers and slept. Road run the next day. Dreading....
Friday to Tuesday
CHINESE NEW YEAR!!
It was the big race. Actually, not really for me. I just took it easy with no proper warm-ups. As a matter of fact, even no preparation. Should have really ran a bit more before today but it was too late. The girls flagged off first which was good. And bad when she came back in like lightning timing. Apparently 14 plus for 3.5km?
Then it was the staff race. The staff reluctantly gathered, except the few enthu ones who were out to win the race. Mr Sim gave his usual speech and we were off. But some weren't. Shan't name names but there were cheaters... Boo... at least i didn't. Survived the lap, and the outside school lap and finally the second slope up unLucky Heights, I faltered... to tie my shoelace. Ok, lame excuse, but I walked up after that. Completed the remaining of the race ahead of some girls who had like a 10 MINUTE headstart?? I mean, both the tortoise AND the hare would have finished by then. But then again, who cares right if you have no NS? hehe
Completed the race in horrendous timing. Didn't even get my position card. Sat around with Phildia, Yi Ning and random other people that were around. Some however got their allegiances mixed up and ended up in GAMMA house, but then again, whos complaining? GAMMA ROCKS!!
The guys ran. Came back in 18plus for 5km. Amazing, but the first house captain back was Keng Mun, from GAMMA!! Cool sight for the house cap to bring the house flag in at the last straight. So some RTs thought that it would be cool to have a relay race during sports carnival, except, instead of using a baton, we use the HOUSE FLAG to pass on. COOL!
Then it was jz random slacking, performances were ok, to say the most. But Karilynn, Jia Chen and Jeryl were performing for band. Which I got "coerced" into buying a brownie and then some popsicles from JoJo's class. Evil Eve tried to get me a massage but i guess it would have been good. Oh well, sorry Evelyn. Then it was the results and as expected...
S-U-C-C-E-S-S ! !! !!
GAMMA GAMMA IS THE BEST ! !! !!
S-U-C-C-E-S-S ! !! !!
GAMMA GAMMA BEATS THE REST ! !! !!
YEAH!!!
Ok, u get the beautiful picture that Gamma is the first ever OVERALL champion for road run. *ignores the fact that beta won best cheering* Slakced around more cuz I was still waiting for my trip back to Malaysia to come.
Then there was some "Yee Sang" tossing by TJ which looked more disgusting than anything. Temasek Wave was a major flop. So its not worth an entry.
Then it was time for lunch. Met 06/07 under LT1. They were there like almost forever. Got "forced" into buying more popsicles and gave them away to 06 and whoever passed by. At least I only spent $1 treating them and got the guys to buy $1 each as well. Smart eh? Waited an eternity for some guy who was seeing Mr Tong and went off to lunch with some SCIP ppl. Evil Eve was one of them and Eng was there too. Random other ppl who I mostly dun remember anymore. Actually, I remember Amirah. Cuz Malays are so rare here its disorienting.
Came back to watch the OGLs bond (read : cheer for no apparent reason). Then I decided to play the guitar and learn some bass for the ever-pro Aaron. Taught Mr Eugene the bass line for All Day and My God. The only two bass lines I know. haha. Enjoyed playing the guitar. Watched mass dance in horror as the Entertainment IC blasphemed the sacred Mass Dances of TJ. Ouch. But I shall remain an observer as the baton has already been passed on. Wwhat remains is for the 30th to ensure the tradition stays. *MAJOR HINT* I did succumb to the temptation and did 1 mass dance near the 06 OGLs. but then stayed away after that and played more guitar.
Left after seeing some Warcraft where the craft should never have landed. Rushed my packing and took 14 to Golden Mile. Packed lots of unnecessary stuff and forgot my Malaysian wallet. Darn. No HP line. Bus came, was almost late. But it was cool. There were no jams at customs at all unlike what Shuming graciously warned me of. Txs Shuming. But the jam started in JB. It was bad but I was enjoying Volume 2 of The Fourth Dimension. Yay. Slept the rest of the way and didn't notice I reached only at 1.30am in Pudu.
TRAVEL TIME : 8 hours 20 minutes
Met sis (yay) and mom (YAY) and had a milo and the famous GM-ed fried chicken. Met sis in the car (yay) and crawled out of KL. The jam was bad. Shall not whine cuz its over, but it was bad. 2 hours just to get out of KL/Selangor. Usual time, 30 minutes. Travelled at the speed of a Malysian traffic jam. Cutting an extremely long story short, reached Kedah!!!!
TRAVEL TIME : 7 hours 30 minutes
Also, along the way, I managed to drive for a few km. Passed a toll plaza which the engine died at. Guess I'm still me. Need more lessons. Maybe Hui Ting can teach. hehe. Now I was in Kedah, the land of good food. Really good food. And here's the summary of the Pigging out I did in the year of the PIG!!
1 Nasi Lemak with chicken and sotong
1 Ice Cream in a cup
1 Ice Cream cone
4 Nasi Kandar (which is the BEST IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
2 Steamboats
2 Chicken Wings
New Year Goodies - Uncountable, about a medium container full
2 Slices of sis' chocolate cake
2 servings of breakfast cornflakes
1 Bowl of shark fin soup
5 Quail eggs?
Drank lots of Sarsi and F&N Orange
1 can of Green Tea Isotonic Drink
VEGood Carrot Juice
1 can of Shandy
NO Oranges
NO Chinese Tea
Yup, thats the pigging summary of my new year.
Visitted 3 houses in total. It was nice. Got my ang paos. Yay. Happy guy! Was actually quite bored there, but it was still nice being back in Kedah. Soon, it was time to go. Although I took some pretty nice photographs. Too bad I dun have them here. Maybe will get my sis to send over. It was time for the journey once again.
I got to drive for about 40 minutes!! Yay, drove at 90km/h for the Penang stretch (that was the speed limit ok...) and then 110 to occasional 120. YAY. Almost banged the guy in front of me cuz I forgot the car has a 2m bonnet in front. Thank God for mom who pulled the handbrake. Shock of her life from my driving I bet. But I was rather ok, except a tendency to gradually slide to the left. I blame the alignment. Hee.. I even drove quite well in the rain but it all came to a stop at Semanggul where we had dinner and changed drivers. Back to sis who easily did 130?
Then the jams came again. Shall avoid ranting but it was horrible. Reached home at 11.30 Viewed my blog, tagged and slept
TRAVEL TIME : 6 hours
Woke up later than I should have but still got there on time. Only to find out the bus to SG was down... So they gave me a RM5 refund and gave a tic to Larkin, Johor. So I didn't wanna say anything and jz took the tic. Happy that I actually have a bus to get back unlike those people who I see cheated on the news...
My blogging time is up. Time to mark ur essays 21. The story will continue.
TOTAL TRAVELLING TIME (thus far) : 21 hours 50 minutesLabels: Chinese New Year, Driving, Food, Gamma, Kedah, Road Run, Traffic jam

# I Love
Okay, today is Valentine's Day and it's been super, absolutely, totally, tremendously, (everybody now...) AWESOME!! Okay, and unlike other posts, I just felt like I wanna list down some of the stuff I LOVE
I LOVE God - It's been so amazing since 2007 started, so many things have happened and my faith has really been built up. There really is a real God out there people!
I LOVE Ps Mark - He's been an awesome youth pastor of Young Adults (YA) of Champions for Christ (CFC). Really helped me through lots, always there to support and encourage. The crowns are there waiting for you!
I LOVE My Cell - Gabriel, FX, MY, Jeremy, BS, Matthew, James, most recent Grace, far away and not forgotten Su-E and Philip. Big smiles to you guys!
I LOVE TJ - Its like home. Enough said
I LOVE My Job - 04,06 and 21, you guys have been awesome and amazing people. It's really a joy to know that I'll be seeing you guys everyday for the next few months. Txs for making my job so enjoyable and lovable. Love the spirit, the interaction, the nonsense, the lame slides I get to have fun with, the blogs, th everything. The RTs, TJ rocks because you guys are around. Special shoutout to the Tropics. Cool people. It makes the staffroom come alive. The Artic dwellers, hang in there, may the badminton continue, the lunches, the everything
I LOVE SC - Txs for still letting me crash the scroom. Nice to be around to talk nonsense, see the projects, hear the (loud) meetings, council is life man.! Keep on living!
I LOVE Blogging - Love all you guys who tag my board, who read my posts, who shout random stuff. Never knew it could be this nice to blog.
I LOVE Talking - To those who know me, and those I talk a lot with, you know I am the epitome of crappyness as well as co-holder for lamer of the year. But I love talking to people. That's why I love what I do, it's really a joy talking to you guys in my classes, the RTs, the councillors, the students, the YA-ers. Yup! Awesomeness.
I LOVE Hillsong/United/PlanetShakers - Great music, passion for God, keeps my day going. Meaningful, fun, and it's just so relaxing to just listen to them
Yup, If anyone loves anything I've mentioned, give me a comment (or okay, you can shout it but dun flood too much k?) Love something else? I wanna hear from you too! Pls do add to this post. I still left out some stuff I love cuz I don't want this post to go on forever.
Here's a quick recap of my Valentine's Race. Morning was like any other, reached school but I went to the Tropics to prepare 21's surprise. Went to assembly and announcement of the day goes to TJ's second TOGA event. Yes, to those who know, shout it with me... OH NO!!! It's back to haunt TJCians. This year's TOGA is slightly different though. You need to do something crazy with your CG (so easy right?) or come dressed as a Chinese New Year Ornament (now you can scream in horror) I was like.. No ... N..O... NO!!! But fact is, it's back. What I wish was still around though was the guitar club dedications that interrupted classes. JiaYi, txs for urs k? I still remember you know! *smiles*
Okay got to CR520 before 21 did. Way before 21 did and arranged their chocs nicely. They didn't quite notice it though, but gave it out anyway. Got Toblerone from ZhiYuan and a straw from Phildia. Ok, it was a heart shaped straw with my name on it. Yay!! Got choc at the end from Johnathan too. Did a simple lesson. Gave the assignment and let them go on for the last 15 minutes of class.
Then it was CR103 for 06. Gave them their chocs too. 06 was in such a havoc I had to give them time to give out all the chocs and notes they wanted to. Then the lesson went on. Went a little off tangent and the laptop hibernated but not to fear, Mr Wilson survived nonetheless. Was rather dry from talking for 3 close to 4 hours straight though. Chocs didn't help, but they were nice! Got more stuff like chocs from Yumei, Sek Hui... so many I can;t remember all. But txs for the loads of stuff everyone. (Its like 11.35 and I have lessons so I better rush this a little)
Went back to the staffroom a happy teacher. Did the New Current Affairs Quiz. 04 till 21, wait for this one ya!! Went for lunch with JoJo and Eugene. Then it was off to staff conference
This was a welfare meeting rather than anything else. Got two oranges and a plum which ended up in council room. Jessie and Justin got it i think. But they shared. It was cool. We played instant angel and mortal too. How cool is that? We each got a card, wrote our name down, put it into a box, took another card, wrote a message and passed it to the person. I got Siok Khoon, who sits like 3 million milimetres away from me. Got my msg from Yi Tian. It was nice and new, instant angel n mortal. How much faster can Singapore get man? Then it was off to slacking in the staffroom and saw CK, Eugene's GF but more importantly, former 27th SC. PC even!! But National Day and Friendship Week. Close, but my projects are still the best!! Haha
There were many other happenings on Friendship Day. Like May and Xin Hui dressed up as angels, JoJo, Eugene and me dedicating a msg and song to our classes. Txs for the shout 21! The rest of my classes, sorry you guys missed it... Talked for quite a while in scroom. Stephanie was definitely high, Jessica needed to fold a rose, Cheryl was hardworking. SC was just different today. Played around the stage area. Talked with Eve, met Julian who I called as Justin. Major oops. Slacked arounf more, saw my ever-bimbo junior. Then SC went off to their B&B Party at ECP. I went home.
Only to prepare for CFC's V-Day party!! Oh yeah. Went a little late, but itwas still early. Did the registration. Played this blindfold, hand holding game. Haha, now u guys wished u were there right? HEHE! Mine was May (who's proudly from ACJC). Good thing I didn't win cuz the winners were supposed to be sabo-ed but time ran out. Then had the poem writing thing. CFC people can be really quite good poets. Here's the one I got written to me! (see, if you came, you'd get a personal poem too!) By XiuYu was sitting right beside me. She hid it quite well. Even tried to fold a rose for me too with the paper! Here it is, my personal V-Day CFC Poem!
hey hi
mr crappy guy =)
may you be happy & gay (erm the (= happy way)
this happy valentine's day!
[p.s. i can't think of a poem for now so pardon me! you're one funny, helpful, approachable, gentlemanly guy btw, i feel! + SMART. stay kenneth-fy! (= .. always!]
Txs XiuYu!! Tried to follow exactly what you wrote. So nice of you. I wrote for Coral, hope she liked it. If you ever read this blog, give me a tag k? And the rest can dream on that i'll tell you what I wrote k! Mua ha ha ha!
Food was a lot, so the girls shared. My table was XiuYu (beside me and still could write the whole thing without me knowing), Winnie, Lydia and ShuJing. And we were "anti-social" cuz we didn't join tables. But it was still great fun. ShuJing even brought a heart-shaped cake to share!
Talked lots of stories. Relived the SC (Stacking Chairs) days during clean up. Yay, nice to know there are other councillors out there. Talked a lot today. JoJo is Legendary. I wonder why. Pick-up lines? Oh man.. so many things that happened. Although the V-Day party wasn't big, happening or particularly exciting, the poem writing was truly meaningful. Yay. Capped a nice night by talking with Ps Mark before I left. Got volume two of the Fourth Dimension. Gonna read it sometime.
Just wanted to post this before V-Day is over. Love all you guys lots!!!Labels: Chocolates, V-Day party, Valentine's Day, XiuYu

# Take It All
Weekends without tuition = Kenneth is a pig. Alarm rang at 9. I got up, 4 hours later. Did my QT. Then cycled down to Beer Garden for lunch. Was just wondering if I would be there again later for dinner. Had a plate of rice with stuff. Interesting? Oh well, I did my pre-sunday grocery shopping and bought $3 of milk. 1L of chocloate milk and 1L of strawberry milk. Feels happy for myself. Except it isn't that easy to bring it back on a bicycle with a 3kg wieght on one side and I don't mean an unbalanced meal. But i was soon home. And, no idea what i did with my afternoon. Think it was laundry.
Then it was time for YA. rushed off to the engine room. Reached just as prayer was starting. Had wonderful prayer and went off to 3B. Then to SPC. Got myself a Kit Kat Milk Chunky. Bad choice. A normal one would have been better. But i bettered myself the next day. Read on.
Praise and worhsip today was phenomenal. We had praise songs after aeons and it was good. But we can always do better! FX n Gabriel were on the keys and piano. (= Too bad it didn't last the hour like i predicted it would to Winnie. Then it was offering time and then it was time for the ever-awesome-and-wonderful Ps Mark!! *standing ovation!!*
It was part 2 of FAITH, the YA_DNA. We learnt the 4 Laws of Faith. And jz to try, I'll state the 4 WITHOUT referring to my notes.
1. Have a clear cut vision.
2. Have a burning desire.
3. (I cheated on this and the next one) Pray for assurance.
4. Speak the word.
Darn... but I still did learn a lot from the session and the quotes were amazing. Txs Ps Mark for all the hard work and research! Here's jz a sample of the few.
"Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God" - Corrie Ten Boom
"I believe in Christianity as I believe in the sun, not only because I see it, but because by it, I see everything else" - C. S. Lewis
"Never dig up in unbelief what you have sown in faith" - Gordon Lindsay
There were many others which I did not copy down. Should have actually... Yup, then we did the chairs and all. Talked with MY and FX to Aunty Aye Lan about death and a calling in our lives. Some bytes for thought. If God has given you a calling in your life, is it possible for you to die before reaching that goal? (as in death at a young age) Then talked about the "Singapore Flood" prophecy. Yeah, quite a lot of thought. Jeremy was around too with his quite good looking NS haircut.
Headed down for Macs dinner. I had a McChicken and Fries although it wasn't my order, but no worries Glanies and Serene, txs for taking my order! Jeremy had his double Double Cheeseburger and to all my classes, I know this should have been the burger and not a BigMac, oh well... So that was dinner and I left church at around 11.30
Came back home and still went online. Yup. Didn't do much. But jz wanna say thanks to the ppl who have been tagging my blog and keeping it alive. Frankly I realise that I blog cuz I know ppl read it and not like others who blog to pour out their feelings or angst. I just wanna thank all the ppl who do read and tag my blog (=
Had to wake up early this morning. Took a morning shower and still had time for QT. Then walked off to school without my 5300. But it turned out alright. Reached the staffroom which looked deserted. Wandered about school and found some 21-ners. Found more 21-ners. Particularly a happy Zhi Yuan. *hops and prances around with a smile*
Assembly was as organised as one of my GP lessons. Had a nice time with 06 except the leg begging incident by drama-club-potential 06-xers. Then of course they had to line up and i was being a bad distraction so i decided to lay low for a while. Then after the boring instructions (which I did pay attention to), 30/06 had to go and collect their NeWater..eeww.. and half eaten McDonald's breakfast. Then met Daniel, 23rd BOD President of LEO. Or was it 24th? Jean gimme a tag if I'm wrong ya? Then slithered beside 28 and met Evelyn and Eng. Eng looked rather sad but no worries (although my inspirational speech felt like the one Jeremy Clarkson gave the road work crew in Season 9 Episode 1) Eng, don't worry about the appeal. Trust God and pray. You have many good friends rooting for you too, not to mention an exceptional GP tutor... Of course I meant Ms Norsheha lar...
Then once again realised I was being a huge distraction and noise maker so I rolled along *thinks of Cadence* and met 30/06 once again. Got the speeches done with and 7 girls decided to have a toilet break. Which took about two decades before we actually could set off. Took 197 and soon we were Taking It All!
First few blocks were smooth. OK, the FIRST block was smooth. Rotted for 90 minutes at the 3rd block waiting for the Truck. Which was more like a mini-van with a cover.. Oh well. Did a lot of waiting and sorting out of newspapers. Highlight of the day must have been visitng Eric's house for 30/06. If I remember correctly, he stays at Block 77, 20-26. And I had the fun of sticking a Stop Child Sex Tourism sticker on his back without him knowing. Gauri dun be too angry k?
Then headed off to lunch with cell, Wei Loon i think and Sara Seow. I think thats how their names are spelt. Oh, and Grace was with us too. SHOCK of the day, I found someone like me who loves chicken rice. Eats ONLY chicken rice. Man, she is the person I have to go out eating with, cuz she ONLY eats chicken rice (and not the cucumber that comes with it!!), western food and fried rice. How awesome is that?? She has NEVER eaten Ice Kacang, Cendol, and many other "Singaporean" food. Now that is something to be proud of! Of course we were making more of a commotion than anything so that was rather embarrassing. But cell is fun! Love u guys lots!
Did our sunday, post beer garden, grocery shopping. And I avenged my Kit Kat Milk Chunky mistake with, $6.20 worth of oversized Kit Kat. 5 in 1. Yay!! And to my classes, I got something for you guys too! Wait for V-Day to find out ya? But nothing big lar, I am just an RT you know... Its the thought that counts? Please?
Ok Ok, walked to 7E and MY didn;t get her super big gulp so the super had to wait. Big Gulp was gulped and soon we were in Haven once again. But before I reached there, had a nice chat with Victoria about chem. Which Aannabelle was nicely teaching her until i kay-po-ed and talked some rubbish abt KMnO4. And Co2+ when its pink or blue. And random other stuff which Victoria knew more than me so it was a sign I should be off at Haven with FX n MY. Sorry Ms Liew, my chem still needs work..
Then it was Bible Study. Which was interesting. Off tangent at more points than one but good overall. The 2 hours always seem to fly by. Then it was time to come home. Prayed a while. Slept. Missed my dinner time. Ate 6 OREOS, 4 Julie's (hehe 21's), drank my choc milk and ate instant noodles. Was blessed with two little drumlets after that. Txs Aunty Lily and God. Was quite a nice dinner. Especially the choc milk!!
Yay. Then I watched somemore Top Gear and decided to type this post out. Blog surfed a little too till the waves died. Then this post came about.
Smiles,
Kenneth Stephen WLabels: faith, Go Green Day, Kit Kat, Nice Dinner, Ps Mark, V-Day

# Pick It Up
Thursday
I just don't really feel like blogging today. So this will officially be my shortest (relative to the no. of days) posts. Did the previous post in the morning. Learnt new vocab from Siok's Crossword. Ate my preordered Western Food in TJ. Went for lessons. Slacked in scroom. Watched the audition videos of Temasek Idol. They can sing. I can't. Natha taught me this traditional game. Too complex for my always-spewing-tonnes-of-nonsense mind. So here's how the game went. I was blackie while YX was whitie.
As you can see, I was winning. Maybe losing if the game continued. Point is, no idea what was going on and the board quickly became bored.
So this was the masterpiece I decided to create. Abstract ain't it?
This is Adi's masterpiece. Simple yet smile-provoking.
My junior hard at work. Adi's very hard at work. Temasek Idol's gonna be great. You'd better be there!
Late into the night, good students still do their GP. *hint to 04,06 and 21*
Had dinner. Had a talk on the way back. Nice walk. Nice talk. (=
Friday
Its D-DAY. 3 missing from 06, 8 around 21 and 2 missing from 04. Lots of sweets. 3 classes to relief as a relief tutor. Hi to Amanda, Ying Lin and Pei Zhi.
To Phildia : I cried out to God for your comfort when I read ur blog. Literally. Stay strong.
O levels results were out. I got to know JiaChen's and KaWai's. A day to be remembered, even if you don't want to, cuz God has your future securely in His hands. Your results are not a mistake. Trust in the perfect plan to prosper you.
Had music meeting. Psalm 103. To those who need to hear it. This is a hard verse to follow, but here it is. Psalm 103v 1 and 4
"Praise the LORD, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise His holy name ... who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion"
David tells his soul which is currently not praising God to praise Him anyway. And when he does so, God CROWNS him with love and compassion. You are rewarded (crowned) with love and compassion when u cry out to the Lord from the pits of your life. Praising him when everything has fallen down. Praise Him, for his His love endures forever, his mercies never come to an end. Praise Him and he will crown you with your reward. Song of the night : I surrender
When I'm weak, You are strong,
You're my feet when I can't move on,
You're the light, in the dark,
You're the whisper, inside of my heart.
And I surrender all, to You,
And I surrender all, to You.
Hope God comforts anyone who needs it through this short post.
Tears,
Kenneth

# The Race Continues
Sunday
Sunday was good yet again. Except for the minor issue of being late for pre-service prayer. Oh well, Ms Tong will be early next time im sure (= Praise and worship was awesome, Particularly liked the pause they did for the bridge of “I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever” to the chorus. The timing was spot on, and I’ve never heard any band do it like that before. Cool. Gotta try it out back in church in Malaysia. *BIG SMILE* Preaching was by Ps Ang who shared on… hmm, can’t quite remember exactly what the title was, but something about how everyone should be ready to serve *takes out a jug and a bottle to remind those who were there*
Then we had a quick cell talk with prayer for BS n Jeremy who are in NS and those who weren’t there. Hope to see you guys ard soon. Then it was off to lunch at Toa Kong for chicken rice. First time I wasn’t with cell for lunch. But it was cool. Headed back to home then to church for bass lessons. Just confirmed that I will be playing on the 24th. Yay, my first time in YA. That will be an awesome time to remember. Aand if anyone wants to come and see if I can actually play a bass, stop by Emmanuel, Hall 3B at 7.30pm on 24th k? After bass, headed home and slacked. Did the basics of housekeeping for my clothes and rested.
Of course not before I created my most creative PowerPoint presentation on the family ever. But then again, think it might be too lame for some to stand (pun so intended)
Monday
I was so ready for classes today and 21 and 06 were in for the lamest of my powerpoint slides ever. Soon, ok 10am, it was time for my lesson with 06. They were not really awake yet except they wanted chocolates. So here I justify my stand that chocolates are for everyone, not just primary sch kids! *winks to shuming* Yup. It went well. At least that’s how I felt it went, haven’t read any comments on the lesson though.
Then it was 21’s turn for the ice-cold lameness. But somehow, Phildia and Shermin were all prepared, with every type of ammunition to get all the chocs they wanted. But, alas, I was quick to find out the perpetrator who leaked the info. It was none other than –yingen- who has a pre-dated post on 06’s blog, this December! I tried to backdate it but not sure if it works. And 06, I understand the tortures of putting up a post, so in the end, not ur fault if ur blog doesn’t win. Yeah, back to what yingen did, she told Phildia all the answers! Then Phildia got a few chocs instead of just one. Shermin too. *faints*
Yeah, that was the lameness for the day, but after that, it was back to serious work at Tao.. darn.. Toa Payoh for Physics. My favourite chapters – Kinematics. Looks a lot like cinematics, except much more fun!! Yup, two hours of linear motion. So fun (not sarcastic) *glares at those who hate physics*
And the day didn’t end there. Took 36 home, which was much smoother this time and then walked a bit… actually quite a lot, to Jean’s to teach her functions. Ok, more of a refresher course cuz she actually knew all that already. With maths out of the way, it was time to have a look at Jean’s laptop. It now comes complete with a bag which satisfies criteria no. 1 and doesn’t look fugly like the ones at Funan. First thoughts, it was Huge. A widescreen yes, but wide enough to be cut into half and used as two separate laptops. Hehe. But nonetheless, that meant more arm-rest space which is so often overlooked this days. I have issues with the mousepad though. Too hard for my liking, but it does the job. Scroll functions also a bit screwy. Hence the need for a real-physical mouse. But that was cool, did blog surfing, and talking and eventually went home before I was 100% sure I would be a zombie the next day
Tuesday
Today was slightly better, in terms of classes cuz I only had one. But still, I had to survive till 1 before I should go home to get my full paycheck. And it’s now certain that my paycheck per day is 65, no CPF for me. Sobs a little. Maybe would be more if I knew exactly how much I am missing in terms of free government money.
Class with 04 went well, except they should have collected their quizzes a tad earlier. Intro of lameness was cut short as I spent more time on the current affairs quizzes. But not to fear, Thursday promises more lameness to come.
Then I left the school earlier than ever. 2pm. Wow, had so much time I actually read the Straits Times. Which was good, except there was this article criticizing the Malaysian Public Sector. Not sure how true it is, but yeah, they would have been imprisoned under the ISA if they were in Malaysia. And a note to Malaysians, Singapore does have its own version of the ISA and they are no trying to hide it. Every student in TJ got a handbook on the ISA which ws mostly used for throwing around at people since it was quite thick. Full use of a few hundred trees to inform the youth on this important legal issue. *kicks one around as I walk into class*
Had a nice nap, till it was a little too late for my favourite dinner so I tried kuey teow goreng from a malay stall. BIG MISTAKE. Malaysians take note again : Mamak is always better in Malaysia. Finished it nonetheless. Wished it was less though. Oh well, slept not too well as I woke up at 3.30 thinking it was morning. Brushed my teeth and went back to sleep. Bet the toilet had a shock seeing me. Cuz apparently my Wednesday hair was either too or not “stuck up” *ignores Zsa^2 and Co. laughter* (=
Wednesday
The big assessment day. Started lessons off with 21. This time they were like, majorly sleepy. Not even top gear could wake them up. Then again, there are only 6 guys in the class. Maybe Barbie would do a better job? Oh well, an interesting survey followed and we found out there was one single-parent family in 21. Shall keep class matters private. Mean family size is 4. Had a good argument and that was the lesson for the day.
Had a quick break and it was 06’s turn for the 5-way family fued. Corrected to Feud by 21. Txs. So I didn’t throw my face in front of the assessors with a glaring error projected nicely in their faces. Gave 06 a toilet break at the stroke of half time. Another pedagogical error as Ms Tan and Ms Ng walked in to a half empty class. Discussions were a bit suppressed for “some” reason as 06 toned down a little with the presence of Big Sister(s). Hehe. But it was good, and once again quite personal. 06 has all 4 family types except the Alternative. Which gave me an initial shock as Ying Ling put up her hand. I was really really surprised that someone was from an Alternative Family, only for her to realize Meng Ting must have given her the wrong info!! Yeah, after much result editing, the majority was Nuclear with a 2 for all the others.
Discussion was not too bad, though I overran time yet again. With the assessors walking out, I had no idea and still have no idea how I fared. But it was fine in my opinion. No chocolates though. Dun worry 06, you guys didn’t disappoint me. Hope the lesson was appropriate for an assessment though.
Then I came back to the staffroom all alone. Decided to slack in the scroom. Had my own lunch. Then went for the English Fair Finals.
It didn’t disappoint. Will put the YouTube link once I get hold of it. Watch it, it will be worth your time. Most enthu CG goes to 14 but best acting goes to 28. Most entertaining however would be 27. Winner via sms-voting was none of the above though. Go figure.. I still am.. I did the video-ing btw, so if its really bad, do tell me and I’ll get another career instead.
Memorable scenes include the “merry-go-round” of Youth Body Image, the “president of taiwan’s departure” of Political Apathy, the “rape of Amy” in Child Sex Exploitation, the many horrors of Academic and Social Pressures and the overall accents of Elitism. Do take a look.
After that, it was off to Chai Chee CC for two hours of badminton. My skills were a bit better now than it was in Malaysia. Maybe should try playing with Eugene someday. Stamina was a whole different issue though. I wondered to myself how Phildia plays too. Maybe one day I can find out. If she beats me, well, I’ll treat her to lunch? But it sounds so biased ryte, a guy vs a girl. But she looks like she could thrash me by the way she mentions her glory days in her blog. Plus my stamina needs lots of work, cuz in one 15 point match, I was already exhausted. At least I lasted almost two hours in normal play.
After that, we sat around. And sat around. Then it wasn’t so round, but we still sat. There were other people who were quite ok, but nothing spectacular. (I think im starting to see things… must have been blogging for too long I thought a circle ran and hid behind an msn conversation). Headed for dinner at the interchange but the highlight was the watermelon dessert. Interesting. The entire $7 of it. It’s this huge watermelon cut in half, with circular scoops of watermelon, longan, peach, syrup, ice and other random stuff like straw (for drinking lar…) and stuff… Then headed back on 197 which I needed Neha to tell me which stop or I’d be wasting more money. Walked back exhausted but still did laundry. Yaynesses. So now I have clothes to wear once again. Then went to sleep. Of course I did more blog surfing after typing out my junior’s junior msg in SC. That was the end of a wonderful Wednesday.Labels: Assessment, badminton, I could sing of your love forever, Jean, Kinematics, Phildia, Shermin, watermelon dessert, Yingen

# The Debating Saturday
Saturday
Saturday holds the top spot for best day of the week. Weekends are just so amazing. Yups. And this was going to be a busy one. Day started off earlier than a Saturday should, but oh well, tuition calls. So its off to Toa (dunno why I always spell it as Tao) Payoh for tuition. And for the first time, it was chem. Tuition. Ms Liew, are you proud of me? Haha (=
Well, since the day started earlier than it should have, I lagged behind and left the house late. And 196 decided to be as punctual as always and left the bus stop the moment I arrived. Sigh… I’m already late… Then I decide to try the MeiYian-forbid-bus-31 route. But as I was about to cross the road, 31 drove past… Sigh… again. But the great thing is, the next 31 came in like less than 10 minutes? So I was off in no time at the speed of a Bugatti Veyron (without fuel) and reached Tao.. darn.. Toa Payoh at 10.10am. Good thing Vincent decided that this Saturday was going to be a late one so like tutor like tu-tee? We were both late.
Topic was chem. energetics. Simple? Enthalpy change, you know, the atomization and millions of other definitions in the topic. But I realized I forgot to turn to PAGE 2 of the assessment objectives. Hiding behind page 1 was… Page 2… duh… but, there it was, staring and laughing at me in the face. The big G. Entropy. Gibbs free energy. The only Gibbs I know is the one JL, Dom and me enjoy splattering all over UT2004 Zoom InstaGib Gael Arena with no crosshair. Yup. Enter the dreaded Gibbs Free Energy thingy. I struggle to keep myself calm and not look like an idiot. The moment the 120 minutes were up, I ran to Winnie, ok, sms-ed her immediately, for help.
Best part, Winnie switched options. Now, I’m dead. But then, somehow from the ashes (of Winnie’s A level chem. memory) she recalls a bit more about what disorder really means and explained it quite well. Although there was beautiful noise blasting in the background. Sorry for the shoutings ya XiuYu and Winnie.
Yup. End of tuition signaled the time for lunch. Which I had in Bedok and walked to church. Church was the harbinger of great things to come. A YM debate. The topic? This House Believes that there is value in pursuing BGR in this season. Dunno what BGR is, then you shouldn’t, period. And I get to be with the wonderful Proposition. Yup, team P consisted of Dawn, Nanthaniel, Clara and Ben. And after our fruitful discussion on Friday, we were on our way to “perfecting” the scripts. Enter, Coach Annabelle. Without her, we would have got the notion wrong. Haha, big boo boo. Oh well, we were ready by 4.30 (or so the advisers claimed) and tried to calm down.
Headed into the holding area and tried to calm everyone down. Searched for last second Bible verses and had last minute prayer, then Annabelle and I tried to sneak out from the second flo0r. Which was locked. Haha. Called the office and got ourselves out of trouble and back into Hall 3B. Guest judge for today was Margaret from PCK. Cool eh? She’s a very articulate judge! Of course she wasn’t in character.
Debate proceeded rather interestingly with team P and team O starting to get personal with phrases like “my boyfriend” or “premarital sex is ok if…” Annabelle and I needed a place to hide as examples and arguments seem to come out of nowhere. Coaches go into hiding. In the open round, the floor floors team P, I tried to rescue them but alas, in the end, team O won. But it was a valiant effort and Nanthaniel won best speaker. Hilarious.
Then it was a happy time when Annabelle and I went to get some reward for our team at SPC. Got them cookies and drinks. Yay. Bought Tiger biscuits with MY’s recommendation. Then it was that time of the week again… YA Service!!! *cues the band* yeahyeah yeah!!
Yup. Today it was Gabriel as the worship leader and an almost full band. Yup. Awesome time. Then it got even better with Pastor Mark’s sharing on FAITH. Yup, really really good message. Quite extraordinary to think of who you would picture yourself as as a man of faith. And verse of the day, “without faith, it is impossible to please God.” It was like, so true, yet sad, cuz most of the time, I pray not really having the faith it would be possible. Overall, it was a good service, rather emotional ending, but emotional in a good and challenging way.
Realised that XiuYu has the same notebook as me. Except she has VJCSB on the cover. ShuJing had a cute coffee pillow. Winnie has great memory in chem. MY starting work soon. All the guys were at army. But all in all, yet another awesome YA Service. And best thing, Ps Mark will be back next week with part 2 of Faith!! Yeah!! Late night, came home, slept. After chatting and surfing blogs.Labels: debate, faith, PCK, Ps Mark, thermochem

# The Debatable Friday
Friday
Day started off differently. With a knock from uncle who asked me what time I was supposed to be up. Tried to be rebellious and went back to sleep. Only for my alarm to ring in 5 secs. Then I dutifully headed to the bathroom and did my regular routine. Proud to say QT now features in the first hour of my day. *BIG SMILE* Loaded this laptop up and headed off to school. Love my 5300. Love Hillsong, United and all others on my playlist. Song of the day : Jesus You're My Superhero. Meaningful song. Yeah... yeah.. yeah. ^^
Reached school. Wwas starting to get worried for my classes who were performing. Refer to The People list. Got down to business straight away after assembly. Wonderful to see my classes there on time. Shall skip what happened to 04. 06. Nice. Ka Wai, not ur fault ya? Im sure 06 will do more cheers for you to make up for the sound lost. Hope you guys enjoyed the chocolates.
21 was up next. They cabbed down from swimming PE. The dedication. Three cheers and three cheers and three.. u get the picture. No cheers for Zsa^2 cabbie who "cheated" her of her peak hour money. Then again, u're always broke aren't you Zsa^2? 21 was good too. Chocolates for them too. Extra choc and first aid to HeJun. Too real sia... So guys, remember, *says it like Eve* Be good boys and girls ok? *winks at 21* Dunno why ppl never laugh at Eve though. I thought it was still funny (=
Chocs and assignments all round. *takes out daggers from my back and gives it back to 06 and 21* Currently am chatting with 5 ppl. Blog is crawling along *eyes go blind with the blinking orange*
Skips part on 04 once again. Retires to staff room. Hides out in the chem tropics. Listens to Mr Eugene's playlist once again. Looked at DotA but realised it so boring. Aalmost fell asleep there. Had lunch which was normal. Then ran to sc room to rest, or stay awake rather.
SC Facts
1. My junior is a bimbo. The Queen of Bimboism (newly coined term)
2. Jessica is quite gullible. But extremely cute while at it
3. Rebecca looks sly though she denies it
4. Some council ppl are slow, and so are their angels AND mortals
5. They can (mass) dance (=
Went off to Emmanuel to help the debate team of YM. Their motion : This house believes that there is more benefit to the pusuit of bgr in this season of life, rather than later. Me? Proposition. And? Ben, Clara, Dawn, Nant. And we had a good time discussing. Dawn could make a good debater. Never knew she talked a lot. Guess quiet ppl aren't always quiet. End of part one of the debatable Friday.
Heads back to school for U16 TJ Invitational finals. Eats dinner first. Spills black sauce over red tee and WHITE pants. Not good. Reaches debate on time (aka missed all the boring intros band speeches) and sat with Prasanthi. Debater. GP Rep. 06. She beat XinMin. She's a 2nd speaker. She's in debate. Erm. That's it? Oh wait, she doesn't know how to play the slapping hand game nor the finger thingy. Yeah, vague but she needs to be educated!
Finals was between Paya Lebar Methodist Girls' School and Hwa Chong Institution. Best part. PLMGS WON!! *trieds to get the St. Patrick guys to sit down and stop cheering for the PLMGS girls* But hey, St Pats made it to Semis! RI and HCI both lost to PLMGS in one day. So sweet and delicious. Motion for the day, This house regrets the rise of religious faith
My problem with HCI, stop harping on the religious extremism point of view and by the time they were done with inter-religious dialogues issue, you could have written a whole concerto from their harping. But then again, best overall speaker went to HCI guy no. 1. But best speaker for finals still goes to *looks at St Pats guys* PLMGS speaker 3. Dunno her name, but i thought she saved PLMGS after their second speaker almost killed them. Cheers all round and TJ goes home satisfied with the result. It was a 4 to 1 vote at that. Mua ha ha ha.
Ate the free food. Talked lots and left by 12. Now im here blogging once again. Of course, before blogging i checked out my classes' webbies and there were few updates. Except the fact that my blog is now invaded by a slice of cheese and the dark side. Yup. Will link u guys up too k? Guys.. haha.. ok lar.. no.. wait.. guys... wait... maybe the cheese gets to be a girl for the soprano scream.
Btw, I followed the trail No. 21 and found Shu Ming's blog as well. U guys better be nicer to Ms Kuah ok? Kudos to the dark lord for holding in "his" laughter for most of the period. And yeah, its fun reading up what goes on behind the facade of faces in class.
That's all from Mr Wilson. JY, bring it on *smashes the crab and walks away*Labels: 21, cheese, dawn, debate, HCI, PLMGS

# A Happening Week
Hi Zsa^2 and Phildia.
I know you read my blog!
Err.. yeah. And dun scream hor Phildia!
Sunday
Church was awesome. Had Ps Jonathan from the chinese service preach in english. It was really a good msg. It was abt giving Jesus that one mor chance to work in our lives, for us to believe God one more time for miracles. Then I went for lunch. Not too normal, but i'll leave it at that. Then it was the usual grocery shopping with FX n MY. Aand after much temptation, I bought a bar of choc. They are really good persuaders. Then I got a Big Gulp. Then it was church. Had bass lesson with Lucas. Sunny brought a bass. But a bass without an amp is like... a... GP tutor with no voice? Ok, I know, lame, but yeah, thats the fact for an amp-less bass. Lessons were easy. But at least now I'll be moving from accoustic to bass. That means I might get the chance to serve during my time here!! Come visit me and YA @ 7.30pm, Hall 3B, Emmanuel, 165 Upper East Coast Road (random 6 digit number) Singapore (Duh...)
Monday
Well, it started out fine. Nothing special about the week. So it seemed. Till I went for classes. Something fishy was going on with 21. Kept on laughing. Either they use CR421 for storing laughing gas over the weekends, or I was seriously catching no ball. Things went on smooth with 06 too. English Fair is becoming less English and more GP (read : EF is ending). So sad, wouldn't see them for PW anymore (smacks the students who rejoice over this fact..) But during the 21 PW, it was so hilarious. There was so much laughter. I dunno why also. But it was funny. I have some video footage. Someone needs to teach me the HTML and sites to upload a video. (hint hint)
Hung out in SC room cuz I was tired before PW. Too bad I was the only one in scroom. But soon ppl came and it sounded more like the scroom. Then after the PW, i hung there once again. Then I left for tuition after eating dinner with Di Hui. But then, somehow 38 was being AP and didn;t want to come until I was late for tuition. Summore got Ah Xiu n friends at the bus stop. The ride was super funny lar. Then Kathleen was there and had witness the bimbo-ness. But I got to know Kathleen better and before I know it, I might be reading her work for the current affairs quiz. Wanna know more about Kathleen? Ask her. She's from 21. Reached. Taught. Left. Wwas spotted by a councillor. Reached home.
Tuesday
Hmmm... can't really remember what happened here, but I know I overran the time of my lessons as usual. Gotta get the gag from Evelyn. Reached home really really early. 4pm. Wow. I ended lessons at 1.20 lar... I dunno why Im stuck in TJ all the time. Got to do my ironing which was faster than ever! 30 minutes for 4 pieces. Thats a 50% decrease in ironing time *CLAPS for myself* Then went online. And chatted. A lot. Youtube-d, a lot. Top Gear is soooo funny. The Bugatti Veyron is an INSANE car. It drinks more fuel than the US economy! I think i chatted was more than the whole of February 2007 combined ^^.. Slept too late. and the next day was the marathon day.
Wednesday
Things start to get happening. One, I walk to school with a compressed Ziplock bag full of clothes for a run. Two, I had first period lessons with 21. Which is always a good thing cuz I had my Youtube videos ready. If u wanna see them, search for Big Ad and Pepsi Jackson. Then I was all ready to show it to 21. With all my enthuness (looks at people falling asleep in 21), I connect the projector, waiting to eagerly shock them out of lala-land. Then the projector wouldn't work. Asked Phildia to try to switch it on. Bad idea, cuz its ceiling mounted. Those who know why should not "look down" on ppl k? But the good thing was Ying Chao helped me to turn it on by... asking me to press the on button. Like duh? But this GP couldn't get the projector to work cuz he was repeatedly pressing the OFF button on the wall. Those from 21 who read this, shut up.
I quickly got on with the lesson. Overran yet again... Sad sia... Then let them off to paste the wonderful exhibit which I "left in the staff room". Checked out the work. Not bad, jz that they intruded into 22's area, cuz 20 intruded theirs. But then 22 intruded back and poor Shuming had to deal with all the intruders..
Then off to 06. This time, I pressed the right buttons and the magical projector shone its glorious wavelengths onto the white screen. Im so not poetic. But it worked. 06 was thrilled by the video a bit more than 21, who were more likely to fall asleep then. Then they wanted ot do their skit. So I gave them one period, thinking id gain it back the next day. WRONG... It was pw the next day. Wasted one lesson. But they'll pay this Friday. mua ha ha ha! Rushed it like crazy in one lesson, but at least 06 is pulling together.
Then we fast forward to the English fair. Launching starts with the P arriving. Before anyone else. So dead ryte... No, cuz the RTs were there to save the day. Ta daa.. Students arrived late. 06 later. 04 latest. Didn't see them but they were apparitionally there. Then it was off to the dept meeting. Cool launch of the EL webbie. Then almost embarrassed myslef when 21's blog was being displayed. Goo dthing they didn't scroll down or my post would have been seen. Ate very nice cake.
Went for the run. Only 4 laps and I was dying. Jojo and Eugene n Jojo's friend did 10. Wow. I gotta catch up! Then it was off to tuition. I was early this time. No bimbos to slow me down. Hehe. But it was fun running. Crashing a little SCIP mass dance and teaching physics. Yup. Headed back on a 36. Major mistake. Cuz the road it uses is more jammed than the LDP at work time. Took me forever to get to parkway. Then I ate a McSpicy. Was spicy. Then my beloved classes, I got you a surprise each for ur skit efforts. N wonderful exhibits. And forced blogs.. haha. But at least I got u guys something
Thursday
I realise I left my working shoes, pants in the staffroom. Funny and dummy of me eh. So I wear other clothes and change at the office. Sad way to start the day. Then I had the whole morning to do my stuff. Jia Yi, ur essay has been selected "rundomly" as a sample for my classes, which includes ur grand-junior 06/07 The other is Gaya's. Then zapped them all for my classes. Wwhich was quite a hassle with multipage double sided printing errors and lousy machine which thought two thick lines was a picture and jammed the machine.
Printed like a few hundred pages for everyone. 25 to SK too. And set them all out nicely. Dunno if there will be enough though. 21 might have to leave one person to care via a share. Of course, to all the ppl i've whined to, you know that Thursday is my nothing-till-3pm day. Camped out at the chem-dept tropics which now accomodates a snake, a cow, a frog and the Hand of Supremacy. Pics sometime soon.
Went for lessons. And as usual, 06 didn't have the script yet. But they did their best. We had a crasher though, who quite literally crashed. Evelyn was apparently being irritated by a pair of concave plastics. And she even rested on the floor in front of the stage. But you are a welcomed crasher so no worries. Then it was 04, who didn't have the script either. Didn't like their attitude, but txs goes out to Joshua for pulling it together. I'll be at the edge of my seat tomorrow, ready to run off it if all falls apart tmr.
Had a prank played on Jocelyn by giving her an orange-starfruit instead of her favourite apple-orange from the drinks stall. Wwhy? Cuz she said starfruit tasted like mango. Today she learnt the error of her ways. Haha, too bad she drank very little. Then we crashed band room. Quite a cool place. Tonned (ok, a few kg) of their gold medals were on the wall. 1986 will forever be cursed for their silver. 2005 will be adored for the only ever gold with honours! Played around with the Clavinova. They have really cool tuners in there. And memories of the Xylophone disaster wsa brought back to mind as I saw the marimbar. JoJo was so at home in there. Mr Eugene found out how to work the Clavi and we heard many nice songs. Song of the day.. i forgot... haha. Band room is cool! TJCSB rocks! Saw their uber-cool lightsabre-wand from Aurora 9 too.
Other interesting things were seeing SCIP ppl being taught mass dance. Video will be up soon *hint for help*. Evelyn and Michael need to learn how to dance man. EXCO pride at stake sia.. The rest of the EXCO, i dun quite know who you are but dance k? Later coaxed the SC into dancing Heartsdales and No Limits. Love the crab-walk *winks at JY* Slacked ard longer than expected. But it was fun. Of course, fun was also defined as catching 21 as they finished rehearsing their skit. It was winter there with the amount of cold jokes.
Interesting facts on 21
1. Valerian has an angel who's in love with him. More fascinating, the girls know more about the letter than he does.
2. HeJun is a good actor (yet to be seen)
3. They have this poking joke they play on ppl
4. Phildia can scream. Really. I mean, scream like she needed Mars to hear it
5. Zsa^2 has lame jokes. I have more. =p
6. Zsa^2 doesn't remember much from her primary school days
Okay, some were exaggerated, but not 4. Yup. There was also a little fight opposite sch. Thank God it settled peacefully without anyone's face closer than the ground than their height. $2 can work wonders. Yup, but 21 is still a fun class. *does the hand thing*
I locked myself out of the house. Called Aunty Kaith. Wrong Aunty. Got in. Now gonna sleep. Oh, the JoJo Band is now officially entering Temasek Idol. More details soon. Btw, JoJo band consists of RTs. And maybe a star vocalist from Mr Eugene's class.Labels: 21, band room, English Fair, essay, JoJo band, mass dance, Phildia, skit, TJCSB, Zsa^2
