This should be like some great post, a big celebration, but it's not.
100 usually signifies completion. And today, i've heard the news of two people who have completed their Race of Life here on earth.
Life is never complete here.. There is still an eternity to go. Earth is a dot in the universe.
100 will never be reached.

# 99
This is post 99 of my maiden blog, and with such, a celebration of significant numbers (no, i didn't mean significant figures... go figure...) is in store for this blog! Ok, let's start
Number you want to see
7050 - Number of hits this blog had when i typed the 99th post
6410 - My soon-to-be wife
5300 - My handphone which is perenially out of battery
4300 - Amount of money MOE should pay me a year
2901 - My GEM Module
2007 - The year of significant change in me (CFC + NUS)
750 - Number of points engineers get in their Programme Account
27 - My birthdate
25 - Number of tickets for CFFF I want to sell (stay tuned for details)
17 - Last week of term
12 - Most irritating bus (credit:Shuming)
11 - My tutorial group with Keow Koon and Anurag
And the final 10
10 - Number of minutes I shall snooze my alarm for (work needed, lots of it!)
9 - Number I want my cell group to grow to
8 - Number of faculties in NUS (I think)
7 - Number of days in a week I want to do QT (=
6 - Number of modules I want to take next sem
5 - CAP score I want for Sem 1
4 - Number of days that have church in them (=
3 - Number of ppl I want to invite to church/YA
2 - Number of buses available from PGP
1 - The ranking God shall have in my life
Ok, that's a quick round up of some significant numbers, shall come up with an unwanted numbers list soon! Haha!
Moving along. I shall do something I haven't done in a long time, blog about my day!
Let's start with the morning,
0700 Hours
Woke up from my sleep. Did nothing about it cuz i knew it was too early
0800 Hours
Still awake, but being lazy
0845 Hours
Finally snapped into action and started on my QT. Quite a scary reading today of Jehu who, like, totally annihilated Ahab and his family. Yup, it was somehow much better than yesterday's QT where I was like, totally disconnected from God
0945 Hours
Finally (seriously) got out of PGP to go and CRASH NTU!!! Was supposed to be there at 1030 for Jayne's Organic Chem lecture... but hey, if im gonna be late, at least it's not my own lecture that Im late for ryte? Yup, was gonna be late
1100 Hours
Touch down NTU.
Met Li Hua who gave me directions to the Nanyang Auditorium.
Note : Signs in NTU are horrible. Rather, the LACK of it. Very crasher-unfriendly place
NTU TJCian counter : 1
1115 Hours
Ventured forth and came upon Nanyang Audi. Should have known that it was that huge URECA building lar... Waited outside for Jayne, who somehow forgot to tell me she is in LT27, so yeah, i had no idea where i should be waiting. Oh well
1200 Hours
Ok, from here on, time will be fuzzy cuz my handphone died of battery about an hour later. Met Jayne who was with Uncle Poo (sorry i can't remember his real name) and we wandered around a bit while waiting for Dix to arrive from her part of the NTU Uniworseverse. She arrive in style, although her scarf was stolen by some other guy, who in turn got his tie stolen by this other girl. Arts students know how to dress up. Engineers don't Shall end that discussion for now. Then after that, walked on to meet Winnie at Canteen A/The Quad (which Winnie doesn't know). It was rather hillarious or frustrating, depending on whether u were Winnie or Me/Jayne. We first told her Canteen A, then Quad, then Canteen A, and finally i forgot where we met also. =s oh wait, it was quad cafe!
While on the way, met Vita (my OG) and Jing Wei (my LEO PD) too!
NTU TJCian count : 3
Also further down, met Say Hoon (Renaissance II) and Alicia (my OG)!
NTU TJCian count : 5
NTU had this super long walkway connecting the Canteen and Audi... with totally no signs btw. So yeah, within this one walkway, met 4 TJCians then reached the Quad as we had a really slow walk while waiting for Winnie to arrive from Hall. Msged Ka Hei too, but she didn't see the msg, then when she did and replied me, my hp died. Haih.. saded, Msged Quen too, and he was in hall with Iwan, but yeah, my 5300 died on me.. So, now let's fast forward to the journey to the quad.
XXXX Hours
Walked towards the SBS (go figure) and stopped by the huge NY Audi. Jayne brought me in and i saw the infamous Audi which has slain (ppl who have fallen asleep) countless NTU-ians (I STILL DUNNO WHAT U GUYS CALL URSELVES) in the forensics lecture. Also, it was the sight where the lightsabres (think sea of lights) and robes were used. No idea what im talking about, then u r not from NTU. Duh? Hehe x)
Then walked towards Cafe at the Quad or something like that and met Sze May!
NTU TJCian Count : 6
Then went into the cafe and found seats! Yay (= Apparently everyone was busy voting for their Union ppl that they didn't have time to eat. The NUS crasher rejoices =D
So we waited (and waited) and waited for Winnie and when Jayne asked "Where's Winnie ar?",Winnie steps in in a refreshing green! Then we decided and ordered. I ordered the western Roast Chicken which was $4.50, but i guess worth it lar? Not too bad, it was quite nice even. And a can of drink cost $1, quite ex, but it is a rather nice cafe, not the usual canteen. Yup, had a very nice and long lunch!! Ok, long relative to the speed i eat. Then after much talking and trying out some of Jayne's baked fish and Winnie's Jap, we decided to leave and let others who were looking for a table get one.
In the cafe, met Tasneem (= but JoJo didn't turn up... Met two other TJCians whom Jayne pointed out (and apparently knew my name) but I can't even recall their faces... must be the hair colouration and non-uniformed effect that made me unable to recognize them. Haha!
Anyway, whatever my excuse...
NTU TJCian Count : 9
So after lunch, went to vote, and Yun Nam Library (i dun quite know what the actually name is though... hehe, so Yun Nam will have to do! Haha) It said on the some sign on the entrance
"Visitors are to report to ... "
Why the ...? cuz i didn't bother to remember what it said and went in anyway. Haha! So in that library, we were trying to get a com to print notes, but they were ALL used up. How come? Cuz the really smart and brilliant people who make it to uni think that the computers in the library are for the following
[1] watching YouTube
[2] Playing Yahoo! games (snooker)
[3] Chatting on MSN
[4] and the very best... SLEEPING!
And desperate ppl trying to print notes have no pc to use. So we decided to use the standalone pc. What's that? Well, we weren't exactly sure but apparently they were for database research. Haha! So the guy came and explained it to us and kindly unlocked it for us so that we could use it and next time use the proper terminal. And yes, there were proper terminals apparently, sadly, we didn't notice them. So it was a big bunch of blunders from freshies. Haha...
Anyway, im a bit tired of telling you about my day apart from the fact that i met Ni Ying during my maths lecture, Sam and Teik Kheng didn't go for it, met Pei Fen outside LT7A, along with Chun Ping, Michelle and Ying Huan. Yup. That about sums up my day... and the dryer doesn't work.. haih...Labels: Alicia, Jayne, Jing Wei, Ka Hei, Li Hua, Meredith, NTU, Quen, Sze May, Vita, Winnie

solution ... get dumb people to write programmes. Even dumber people to pay for it.
Conclusion : I love computers, but they don't love me
Today was my first experience with C Programming. I did Lab 0, it's so basic it's not even lab 1, and guess what, after following the instructions, the programme actually CRASHED! I mean, wow, i crashed a well written SSH Secure Shell Client. Amazing are my programming skills. But at least there was some sort of recovery file, which was really irritating so i deleted it. Die you stupid error!!
Ok, enough with computing, me getting bored is bad enough, no need to bore anyone else.
Recap of what has happened this week.
Su-E Birthday
I was mostly responsible along with FX for it's planning. But as Im a noob at these things, Jeremy appeared on time (aka we were late), forgot to leave the Sennett key for him too. Food almost became cold, I over heated two doughnuts. Well, nothing much went wrong, except the burthday gal had already eaten. Oh, i know some of you will know where i got the idea from, but, we got a pretty interesting cake for Su-E.... A CARROT CAKE! Haha, black one, $2, from beer garden! But we're not ALL that evil so we got her a cake too! From Secret Recipe. a classic cheesecake (=
Then we had cell, then had the convo with Bev. Then had school
Ok, now im doing something almost completely illegal, eating dinner at Raffles HallLabels: C programming, Raffles Hall, Su-E

# Busyness
Psalm 23 in a busy world
The clock is my dictator;
I shall not rest.
It makes me lie down only when exhausted.
It leads me to depression.
It hounds my soul.
It leads me in circles of frenzy for activity's sake
Even though I run frantically from task to task
I will never get it all done, for my "ideal" is with me.
Deadlines and my need for approval, they drive me.
They demand my performance from me beyond the limits of my schedule.
They anoint my head with migraines.
My in-basket overflows.
Surely fatigue and time pressure shall follow me all the days of my life.
And I will dwell in the bonds of frustration forever.
From "101 Ways to Simplify Your Life" written by Paul Borthwick, and published by Victor Books.
Hi blog. I am busy. Hence I have kind of ignored you. Today, lecture at 6pm. Ends at 9pm. I feel like bringing my laptop there. Ok i shall.
Im going to get married to my Fujitsu Lifebook S6410 soon. This coming Monday willl be the wedding ceremony. Officially we will be married when my first tutorial starts.
So what am I doing now? Resting in my room before my GEM 2901 class starts in LT32 in Science Fac. Gonna have to leave at abt 5.15 to get there on time. Disgusting ryte? Im on campus and still have to leave 45 mins early. Saded.
Life has been quite nice off campus, but today, I shall make it a nice one. Txs Beverly for the convo yesterday (= or today rather. Hehe.
Shout out to Yumei, Pras, Sek, Kari, Joanne and Stephanie. Miss you guys. Makes TJ seem so far away when I met u guys, cuz haven seen u guys in three eternities already lar.. treasure ur JC life, cuz it doesn't get much easier in Uni. That's local uni if you're wondering. Go overseas! Pls do! Dun make me see u in orientation when im in Year 3. If i do see u also, be in the camps k?
Ok, back to NUS life. Met Amanda today who graciously lent me her CashCard cuz Vanessa's had not enough credit to print my notes. Ate at the fabled Arts Canteen. Ok only lar the western food there. Still haven't found the best which is apparently at Business. Which makes sense. Business, west, seems to click quite well. While Engin, food? Hmm.. the only thing we know abt cooking is how many Joules of energy the stove will provide and to find the best material to cook the food in. Oh, we would claim to design it too, but i think SDE takes credit for that. So I guess engin canteen will not be able to boast much for now other than our Indonesian Panggang. Which I have yet to try. I will. I have four years... How will I not...
Ok, time's up Blog. I've gotta sleep and bathe before lecture. Trying to figure out how to squeeze in DINNER when lecture's from 6 to 9. Oh well, good to be back in PGP, although im not too excited.
Oh, yes, there's one thing u can take back from reading this post, I now have a Facebook account! Yes, search for the ONLY,i repeat ONLY Kenneth Stephen Wilson on Facebook k? Cheers ppl!

# It Finally Happened
Today was a 3 hour lecture day. Nothing much happened. The lecture on computing was exceptionally sleep inducing although it wasn't that boring. The one hour one on physics was super easy to sit through. And i loved the riddle. Let's place it here and see if anyone can figure it out?
In Room A, there are 3 switches, all switched to "OFF"
In Room B, there are 3 lightbulbs which are connected to the three switches individually (i.e. each switch only turns on one lightbulb)
You are given the chance to enter room A once, and Room B once. What would you do to identify which switch controls which lightbulb?
So if you have the answer, tag or comment? If you have done it before, jz feel smart ya?
Ok, back to life, met Edwin at the PGP terminal and went to lecture with him. Met Yimin outside LT6 and Joshua too. Talked quite a bit to Yimin and then went in for lecture. Saved 3 seats for Teik Kheng, and Yimin also sat with us with this other guy from her OG.
The lecture was ok, then went to YIH for lunch cuz TK wanted to post something. Sam, the only Rafflesian around had the honour of bringing us there from LT6. He did so. The long way. Very long way. We took abt 15 to 20 minutes to walk there i think? Haha! So noob ryte? But oh well, better late than... very late?
So Sam and i decided to eat the chinese mixed rice cuz the malay mixed rice store had too long a queue. So weird ryte? So many chinese in NUS, all want to eat Malay food. Orang pelik betul,,, Anurag and TK wanted subway, so we "split up". Sam and I ate first. No sign of TK. We finished eating, no sign of TK. Anurag bought drinks, no sign of TK. Went down no sign of TK, TK was still queueing for subway. How on earth do you spell queueing?
Anyway, moral of the story, dun ask TK to buy food. Haha.
So they quickly got their subs and we "chiong-ed" at a comfy pace to familiar LT7A for CS1101C. They brought in their subs (dun tell anyone hor... wait.. nobody cares) and we sat down. Lecture was ok.. except it was lonnggg.. Sam's laptop was really tempting to jz MSN or something, but i persevered. Close call...
/* Note to people in JC, pls do not sleep in your brief one hour lecture cannn? Come uni, u have 4 hours straight of lecture, i think i buy u pillow also won;t help */
Then after the lecture, i headed off to Central Library to help Yimin with some maths.. only to realise my maths is as good as a steamm engine in a day of jet propulsion! So now a bit scared liao...
Then headed off to PGP and then back to Central then to IKEA. Sorry Aman, Yoke Pei and Pamela. I was super late lar.. and they were super hungry... Aih, me and my i-don't-know-how-to-burn-30-minutes brain. From CL, i went back to PGP, only to return to CL and be late. Haih, but dinner was nice. Meatballs and fries, with a bit of cranberry jam (= Then it wasrandom shopping till i found 8 hangers for 1.80 and a towel for abt 7 which has become my washable footmat! Creative eh? Thats about all i bought. Wanted to buy a clock, but decided not to.
Then came home.. and did this post. Such a boring post ryte? That's uni life i guess? So what finally happened? I don't know if it's sooner than expected, but yes. Finally, today,it happened.
I was walking to the toilet, and one guy (most probably an Ah Tiong as Jayne would call him) came out of his room. Only in his underwear. Yup, it finally happened here. Dunman Hostel took quite a while, but i guess when it's a bigger place with more of them, it's bound to happen. All i can do is lift my eyes to the heavens and cry "WHY???!!"Labels: Amande, Anurag, Edwin, IKEA, Pamela, Sam, Teik Kheng, Yimin, Yoke Pei

# First Lecture
Today was a nice day! People I have to thank God for
Jean
Amande
Chun Ping
Samuel
Ok, let's start the day proper. Did QT in the morning, which filled me with awe as i jz thought of the temple Solomon built. Not only did he have the riches for it, he didn't spare the time either. 7 years of construction. With help from neighbouring countries too. 7 years.. thats like me and my uni bond combined, just to build a building roughly 27 metres wide. Not that big when u consider modern day buildings.
Ok, back to modern day and time. Today was (supposed to be) lunch with Jean and Aman! First stop, Temasek Hall. I have got to say it's the nicest hall i've seen so far!! I haven't seen Kent Ridge and I heard it's even better, but if u r considering a hall, and u dun mind the name Temasek all over again, go Temasek Hall, their double room is HUGE! By, huge, i refer to NUS accomodation standards lar of course. Anyway, when i reached (or so i thought, cuz i alighted one stop earlier) TH, i called Jean, and instead of her telling me where to go or that she'll pick me up, she and aman were happily screaming into the phone. Talk abt being enthu!
Yup, so i entered her room with aman inside, ate doughnuts, talked lots of crap, and eventually Jean's friend Shimin (not the one currently in MJ if you're from 21/07) from NUS Business came too. Apparently lunch was with quite a few ppl. Who else? Well, a certain Aini and Charmaine, courtesy of Aman, who they want to kill for bringingthem all the way from The Deck (FASS Canteen) to TH and back to The Deck. but if u think the bus ride is the problem, it'snot. It's the fact that The Deck is on lvl 6 of FASS. So yup, it was a nice climb all the way back up...
Only to discover that it'sabsolutely packed with FASS and all-over-the-campus students. So our hopes of eating the "best food in NUS" were dashed. We also were melting from the heat and so we headed up to the BK (7th storey, without elevator!) So after finally getting a seat in an aircon place, we decided to do... nothing!
Yup, waited and Jean and Shimin decided to get fruit juice. Aman needed to find the arts library. Which is apparently non-existent as it is actually the same thing as the Central Library! So we looked around in vain for the "Arts Library". But we did discover unfriendly trees, and a loop around the The Deck! Smart eh? So we eventually figured out (ok fine, aman got called by her senior) where the library was and we were on our way. Aman was headed for Radio Pulze, NUS Student Radio Channel. Cool eh? We climbed up even higher than The Deck, so i guess u could call it the Upper Deck, onl it's called CDTL. CD what? Dowan tell u! Go find it in NUS urself! Haha. It'salmost the highest point in NUS, sensible for a broadcasting place, but not for a CCA if you intend to join it.
We reached the place where the security access is so strict only abt 15 students have access to the studio, where even Aman's senior had to call for someone on the inside to open up. So he did, we walked in to a sub-class studio, but not bad for an on-campus one. Had the whoel curtains and lights thingy and also a broadcasting room which i mistook for an outdoor toilet! Haha. What doyou expect when u see one wooden room all by itself not connected to anything? Even better was who came out of it! Chee Kiang! Haha, so much for being a toilet, it was my ASEAN senior who is a campus DJ. Not bad eh?
Aman had a rather simple casual interview, and i was there sms-ing away while thinking if i even wanted to consider joining Radio Pulze. Yup, fast forward, we spent time watching lame youtube videos after the interview and Jean and Shimin had already left for classes. Aini and Charmaine were 1 up, they left, for home. So it was just me and Aman left. So we decided to make the best of the time we had left in NUS by looking for Clementi Book Shop and NTUC.
What i found out was Clementi and Bedok are very similar in design. The central area looks almost like a coopy of Bedok. It's like those brushes u have in Photoshop, sprinkle some in Bedok, some in Clementi, same design, different layout. It even has a library nearby, NTUC, fast food, very eeriely familiar.
Ok, we wandered around like lame ppl, then found the elusive NTU, i mean NTUC. Hehe, yup. Looked ard and bought only my soap powder. Couldn't find pail, door mat, water bottle or hangars. Yup, that's my shopping list in case u were wondering.
Then headed down to Clementi Book Shop which we found by God's grace, cuz we had totally no idea where it was at all. The bookshop was quite interesting, except they dun accept NETS for purchases below 50. Yeah, but it does give free book wrappers! Cool!
Then Aman left for her home, but we bumped into Cindy and a familiar face whose name i don't remember. Oh oh, i also bumped into LONG LONG TIME FRIEND, Kangya!! Still as cute as always! Haha! But then talk with her until she got pang-seh-ed by her friends, then had to rush after them. Cool cool. Found out Jiayi is also in NUS for now. Also met Xiao Yun at the bus stop!
Ok, that's the few random ppl i bumped into. And the next one is not so random, it was Chun Ping, who was taking the same GEM as me. Thank you God for putting me on that bus, i now had a lecture partner, who then reserved a seat for me. He was with his ChEEs OG ppl. Yun Ling (i think), Ka Man (i think, or Karmen), Koi Something.. eekkk. yeah, didn't really get to know them.
Before i headed off for lecture, bought food for lunch/dinner and crashed at sam's in Raffles. Bumped into Clara or Ka-La. Hehe, some TJCian in RH. He has an enviable laptop, and a very very enviable PRINTER. Anyone with a spare printer, help would be greatly appreciated!!! But yeah, ate and chatted a while, before rushing off to PGP and then to LT 32 where i met the ppl whose names i can't quite remember.
But all in all, I think prayer really really works. Cuz i prayed for friends to be around for my first day, and he really let me bump into many ppl! But the most amazing have been Aman and Chun Ping. Txs for all the help today. Sam and Jean too. Jean, let me say it again, I AM JEALOUS OF TEMASEK HALL!!!!
Yup, that's almost all about my day. Shall not tell u how i wasted 20cents in the laundry room. Off to dry my clothes now!Labels: Aini, Amande, Charmaine, Chun Ping, Friends, GEM 2901, Jean, Sam, Shimin

# Residence 4, Block 19, Room H
There was once a story told of a man, who woke up one fine sunday morning. For once in a rare while, the air conditioning worked, for once in a blue moon, this man got up on time and was in church very early. So early in fact he decided to grab a nasi lemak for breakfast. Soon it was service time and he found himself all alone as he waited for the service to start. Along came Megan and Vaness and soon the rest of his cell.
Service was great, message was not so much a sermon for the morning, but awesome nonetheless. There were 3 salvations and a great prayer for the cell leaders of the church. Soon after the service, the man left the church towards Changi Airport, through a long and treacherous track as he and his cell searched for the elusive 36. After finding and boarding it, they were a little confused as to which terminal they arrived at first, but once that was settled, it was lunch time. With only one staff pass, things were gonna get messy. Or slow. Whichever it was, the man and his cell soon left for their main target of the day. Grace Chan.
A highly acclaimed PSC scholar who was on her way to Cornell in the states was sucessfully intercepted befor eshe boarded her two-day-long-journey flight. However, the cell were not the fastest to reach there as other agents from her class were already surrounding the target. They made their move, closed in, felt rather awkward, and moved out. There was a cameo appearance from one of the rare-r agents, but she didn't come alone. A little more awkwardness, but soon the cell moved into position and prayed for Grace. As she left, there was once again that sense of emptiness in the man. One of empty regret.
However, that was not to bethe matter of the day for him, as he was blessed beyond measure by Jayne and her family. He had secured the assistance he required to complete his transition from Sennett dweller to PRP resident. At 5.something, the hp had an sms which he promptly replied to. The reply however was less than prompt, but the National Day Parade replay made up for it. After less than an hour of waiting, the cavalry arrived and it was mounted with everything from socks to octopus. Yes, the octopus is now in PGP.
After some map reading, and explanation of physics, the man arrived at PGP, found his way after quite a bit of wandering, and settled in. He got help from next door senior Tiang Lim, who offered not only a handy vacuum cleaner but also a pail. The man cleaned the floor which emits a faint glow when light falls on it. The laptop poised in position on the table, the rest of the room was neatly furnished.
Now this. Say hi to Room H.Labels: Jayne, PGP, Tiang Lim

# The Return
Hi ppl, im back. haven't been blogging cuz of busyness. But im back for a rather simple post. Few major updates on my life. I've spent more in August than in the entire year combined cuz i bought my own laptop *cheers for me please?*and paid my full rent in Prince George's Park Residence.
For the less informed, Prince George's Park is an on-campus Residence in NUS. For the even more uninformed, I am currently in NUS, reading Mechanical Engineering. I'm in tutorial group A11. If you are too, tag me! On PGP, im in Residence 4, i think, or is it 5? Not important, more importantly, Block 19, Level 1, Room H.
Ok, now that that's out of the way, let's make way for the most important announcement, I bought my own laptop. After much civil war between my gaming side and my studies side, I gave in to wise advice from Roland and Bertrand, to get the Fujitsu S6410U or something like that.
Features...
-Intel Centrino Duo, Core 2 DUO T7300 2.0 GHz processor *standing ovation*
-Unknown brand of 2.0 GB of RAM, unknown speed too.. *squatting ovation*
-Unknown brand of 160 GB Hard Disk space *claps*
-Wireless and wired LAN
-3 USB ports
-1 firewire
-5in1 card reader
-CD/DVD writer (dual layer)
-13.3 inch widescreen
-1.9kg
-some PC Card slot thingy
-Windows Vista Business edition *my first original software*
-Microsoft Office Student Edition
-Adobe Creative Suite 3 *looks at shujing*
What it does not have
-webcam *smacks shujing*
-fingerprint reader
-a graphics card *cries...*
-a volume dial
-ANY GAMES!! *smacks the business edition*
Yup, so there you have it, the rundown of my very own laptop. Im happy. Very happy to have one indeed, plus it was paid by my own money!! I love it lots. I will soon marry it and it will be with me where ever I go! Im loving it's widescreen, loving its Adobe Photoshop CS 3 Extended. Loving its light body, and especially the fact that it does not hang anymore!! Oh it has a wireless switch too!
Ok, that about all about my laptop. My life, let's see... i've just survived a full day at Sentosa with my Engin O week OG, Helsing. We had beach games there the whole time, played somenice games, some boring ones, some torturous ones, some disgusting ones, yeah, that about covers it. Haven't learnt the mass dance yet though. My OG is ok i guess. Wish it could be mroe channel rather than channel 8. Nice channel 5 ppl are Guo Yuan and Koh Yu *smiles* other than that, the rest are not too bad. Universal truth, girls HAVE EYE CANDIES. my OG girls have already identified ECs 1 to 4. Summore will stare until so obvious.. haha. And Geok Meng is ECSTACY girl.
After the full day in Sentosa, whose sunburns im still suffering fromn, i went to church for overnight prayer (dun feel bad hor Koh Yu, u can come too!). 12am to 6am. It was the shortest longest overnight prayer! oxymoronic i know, but really. We crammed so many activities inside. We had Homer and the Tabernacle with sharings from Roland, Vanessa, KubiTay, Pastor Mark, Chellie and prayers from a few ppl, with lots of group prayers. Praise and worship by Melvin and Gabriel.
Among the highlights are the sing-along-session to keep up going at 3.30am and the 4.30am prayer walk.
What sing-along-session? Haha..it was none other than SPIDERPIG!!!
And cuz we're the crazy as always CFC, it wasn't jz singing the song, we had parts!!! Haha, so interesting ryte? We had 4 groups. Group one gave the beat. They would chant in a low voice... spiderpig-a-spiderpig-a-spiderpig-a-spiderpig-a-... and that would be the tempo for the next group, the singers, they would sing
Spiderpig, spiderpig,
Does whatever a spiderpig does,
Can he swing, from a web?
No he can't, he's a pig
Look out, he is a spiderpig.
Haha!! then we had my group, the harmony, who come it at LOOK OUT, he is a spderpig! We do the harmony only on that line, but sing along as well. And when it's look out, we must open our eyes big big! Hehe, at 3.30 plus, not easy eh?
Then we had the last group, the effects group! They did the pig snort at the end of some of the lines.
Then we came together in one big orchestra, the CFC-COMBINED SPIDERPIG ORCHESTRA!!
Haha, ok ok, that lasted for about 10 minutes, then we moved on. Hehe.. so funny lar... We had a nightwalk with 4 groups. Some walked first, then were picked up, some were picked up then walked. We started in 2 venues, church n marine parade road, and made our way to ECP.
My group stopped outside VJ at about 4.40am, prayed and walked our way down to ECP. Met Alvin's group at the block 18 underpass. The other ones started from church, towards TJ onwards. Ended with prayer and praise and worship outside KitRunners at 6.10am!
So nice, but i was super sian by then already... had no mood to talk... Then had macs in ECP and ran into Calvary AoG! So cool ryte? they had overnight too!!
Ok, that's my life for now, more updates soon..spiderpig-a-spiderpig-a.. and if u saw a guy in a pink NUSSU Rag n flag t shirt that looks like me, it wasn't!Labels: Overnightprayer, PGP, Spiderpig
