Hi blog. I am busy. Hence I have kind of ignored you. Today, lecture at 6pm. Ends at 9pm. I feel like bringing my laptop there. Ok i shall.
Im going to get married to my Fujitsu Lifebook S6410 soon. This coming Monday willl be the wedding ceremony. Officially we will be married when my first tutorial starts.
So what am I doing now? Resting in my room before my GEM 2901 class starts in LT32 in Science Fac. Gonna have to leave at abt 5.15 to get there on time. Disgusting ryte? Im on campus and still have to leave 45 mins early. Saded.
Life has been quite nice off campus, but today, I shall make it a nice one. Txs Beverly for the convo yesterday (= or today rather. Hehe.
Shout out to Yumei, Pras, Sek, Kari, Joanne and Stephanie. Miss you guys. Makes TJ seem so far away when I met u guys, cuz haven seen u guys in three eternities already lar.. treasure ur JC life, cuz it doesn't get much easier in Uni. That's local uni if you're wondering. Go overseas! Pls do! Dun make me see u in orientation when im in Year 3. If i do see u also, be in the camps k?
Ok, back to NUS life. Met Amanda today who graciously lent me her CashCard cuz Vanessa's had not enough credit to print my notes. Ate at the fabled Arts Canteen. Ok only lar the western food there. Still haven't found the best which is apparently at Business. Which makes sense. Business, west, seems to click quite well. While Engin, food? Hmm.. the only thing we know abt cooking is how many Joules of energy the stove will provide and to find the best material to cook the food in. Oh, we would claim to design it too, but i think SDE takes credit for that. So I guess engin canteen will not be able to boast much for now other than our Indonesian Panggang. Which I have yet to try. I will. I have four years... How will I not...
Ok, time's up Blog. I've gotta sleep and bathe before lecture. Trying to figure out how to squeeze in DINNER when lecture's from 6 to 9. Oh well, good to be back in PGP, although im not too excited.

Tuesday
Today was pretty interesting. Woke up after a crazy chat session with the three in one, actually jz two, but yeah, it was crazy. Was chatting with a few other ppl too and eventually gave up because 2am (apart from being a track from Altered Frequency's album) sounded more like "you're asleep" and "you're not supposed to be making sense... what?.. precisely" so i slept. And woke up this morning at around 9 plus 10. Slacked around, surfed blogs and what not, yeah, actually what what not ar?
Who cares, i got myself out of bed (which takes a lot of effort when u haven't been working or 2 weeks plus...) and went for lunch. I think i stopped by TJ first to get my shoebag, talked with the fewex-councillors in the room and then went opposite. Got a rather ok lunch, and then as i was abt to leave for Beach Rd, Jaren's sms came.
Then went over to under LT 2,helped distracted sek's/pras's PW group with their soapy slippery GPP and then finally started to make our way to lunch. Why was I at lunch again? Don't know. Where were we going to eat? Don't know. We had many funny suggestions.

But we settled on Pizza Hut cuz of their tempting student offer. But Jeryl still wanted his porridge. So he went and bought and brought it into the Hut.
Then we had many funny conversations and almost persuaded Diantahhhhhh not to buy lasagne and the person who took our order had some math problems. When the food came, Jaren's balls didn't seem to appear. But they ate anyway. Had a little surprise with Adele and Valarie coming to the Hut as well, but they were doing PW there... so sad... And then Shi Yun came and i told her they were inside before she could call them (on the phone lar). Then Chinese Drama Girl (CDG) also came. Sorry I dun know ur name. Sek thinks CDG is from AHS. But then again, everyone is from AHS lar in TJ. But u wouldn't recognise them from their EZLINK CARDS!! It was so funny when Yumei started laughing at the pics at the counter. Even the staff were so unprofessional and laughed with her. Jaren was "stretched", Diantha looked like nurse. After the meal, went off... haha, Yumei, u cannot read from this point on ok?

We went to City Hall first cuz i wanted to get my ticket from nearby Beach Road. Diantahhhhh wanted doughnuts but the queue was insane, so we got nothing from there. Haha. So we decided to head on to Orchard to get more stuff with Jeryl Kari to join us there. When we were there, they were at Eunos. So, you guessed it, we moved on! Haha, but really, all the best to Kari and Jeryl for Band EXCO!
Stopped for Ah Pek Ice Cream, which Diantahhhhh and i got hte same while Joannie got some green thingy. But pro of the day goes to Joannie who ate it the tidiest. I get the the fastest eater award as usual, and wanted more.
Okay, now when we finally reached our destination, Kinokuniya was having a stock check. For ONLY today. It had to be JUST today.

Oh well, we headed off to level 3 and shopped ard. Ok, we started by sitting down while getting Diantahhhhh's Rubik's then we got Yumei her stuff. And had loads of fun looking ard all the weird stuff. Realised i haven't played board games or Uno in a long time. Oh, when Jeryl Kari arrived, I could only see Jeryl. Heee!
After we bought e stuff, got it wrapped, we went down to Happy House, or so i thought. There was this rather embarrasing moment but since this is my blog, i shall not suan myself. Haha! If u know about it, u can blog abt it.
Left for tuition, came home, and blogged.
Ok, some observations today.

# Sprung... a leak
Tuesday
Historical day. Let's get the basics out of the way. Got up, went for interview, went to church, went to school, had dinner, tuition, came home to blog about it. Here we go.
Okay, the highlight of the day, the SPRING SG interview. If any of you from Spring Singapore is reading this - HI! Hope u had a nice day at work =)
Woke up at 7.40 after Jean convinced me waking at 7am for an 11am interview is madness. Haha. So i woke up later, took a shower, re-ironed my pants, did my QT and then prepared to leave. It was abt 9am. Reached the bus stop at 9.10, and 14 was already here. Yay. No need to wait.
Got up, sat down, listen to All of the Above till about hostel there, then started reading up my Spring SG notes. Yes ppl, i made notes. I know that Philip Yeo is the Chairman while Mr Loh Khum Yean is the CEO and his deputy is Mr Png Cheong Boon. I found out it has 5 branches and 4 strategic thrusts. But do you care? I guess not. Haha. But still, the stuff they do are quite cool. ETDF, CCI, MDP, BrandPact. Yup, without Spring, its like, building a house without machinery. U can do it, but it'll be much easier with their help.
Yeah, lets just say i was super early for the interview. Yup, met Maria on level 20, she took my certs, gave me back my Orange folder, and i sat down. There wa this guy opposite me. Just smiled, but he looked super tense. Didn't get to speak to him and he went for the interview.
Actually, there was an air of disappointment when ireached level 20, i instantly knew it wasn't the final round and there would still be a need for Round 4. But oh well. Read Enterprise Today while waiting. Prayed. And finally my turn came.
The HR Exec was a very nice lady, then she gave me a quick briefing on what was gonna happen in the room, and it was Mr Tan from Corporate Development and a lady from Enterprise Capabilities i think. The interview was rather smooth although i didn't throw all my knowledge of Spring at them.Yeah, should have done that. Sighs...
Then the usual ending question came.. Do you have any questions for us?
I asked about the departments in Spring, if i get to choose... bla bla bla.. then i asked about accomodation. And here's when the leak sprung itself.
HR Exec : We will certainly provide the accomodation for our scholars
Me : Oh, so you'll be paying for my hall fees if i accept NUS
HR Exec : Well, we will definitely fund our scholars' accomodation because they need it when they are overseas
Me : Oh, okay, so firefly is ONLY giving out overseas scholarships
HR Exec : Yes..... *and here i stop listening and start thinking.. oh crap.. i am screwed*
Yup. found out that firefly only wants to give out overseas scholarships. And i don;t have an overseas place to be sent to. So yeah, God, if You want me to take up a plain ASEAN in NUS, i will i guess. But if u give me the Spring Scholarship, i know its You cuz it will take a miracle to get me both a scholarship and a place overseas to read Engineering.
Yup. That's how the thing went. A quick 20 minute interview. Then bussed back to home. Slept. Sorry Jayne, my hp was going crazy today. JoJo smsed me and i finally got 8 msgs straight away after restarting my phone. Helped Jayne out and towards the end, she had to leave for driving. All the best!! Finished it up and went home.

Yumei called and i get to go and get the cable. She was doing make up PE. Reached school and saw her and Sek. Sek was doing the most cool make up PE I've ever heard. Shoot 100 balls. And Sek being the *cute* haha Sek she is chose 100 3 point shots. I reached at 57. And stayed around till 100. It was super funny lar with Yumei helping Sek with the balls. Yumei is also a B.. I.. M... B... She's a Bimbo.. B.. I... m...?... She's a Bimbo! Hahaha! *knocks her own head with the ball* Haha! Twice! Haha! So funny!! And then Sek also laughed, then can't concentrate and shot a few ass-balls (according to Yumei) Haha! Ok, she meant air-balls. Then after about an hour (they were ther for an hour already) we left while Sek still wanted to stick around shooting more balls. So cool ryte, 100 shots for make up PE.
Then as i left, saw the PE teachers opposite. Anyone want to guess what they were doing. I doubt any of u can guess it right. Seriously, even I didn't believe it.
Ate my dinner, on the way out, met Aprine, Amanda and Ying Huan, topped up EZLink and then went for tuition. Then came home. Yup. Hi. Im still on the school laptop. I bet that's illegal when u were retrenched like more than a week ago? I guess TJ jz rocks!

Guess what, i've been listening to or is it guess what i've been listening to? Either way, it's All of the Above by UNITED! Oh yea. And it rocks! Haha, if any of u have the time to check, i find the e-guitar in Hosanna at 2:37 quite funny. But after a while, it starts to sound cool. Oh, yes, let me tell u my favourite songs from this album (this is so not related to monday, but who cares)

2- Devotion - chorus lyrics rocks!
3- Found - although i initially ALWAYS skipped this song in Mighty to Save, they revamped it so well it is actually much easier to listen to. NOTE : I hate songs where the singer/s do/esn't sound natural at all.. like when they have too "ghostly" voices. Refer to Found in MTS or Lead Me To The Cross from AOTA.
4- Future Decided - bridge rocks! (and yes, playing bridge rocks too, but not as much as this!)
5- Saviour King - JoJo, i admit the build up for Still is STILL (pun intended) the nicest, but this when they go into chorus for e 4th time, i love the vocals!

Oh, lemme see.. what happened here... Or rather... what didn't happen.. Carian ar... Ok shall not blame her lar, my fault for not bringing back the GP Resource Package. So 03 had to do an impromtu lesson on advertising. Yes, 06, the whole lesson was NOT planned, but i knew what it was about at least ryte?
Continues and finished my THE (yes, its there for a reason my students..) Mass Media intro and even had to take 06 out of 133 because i felt it was so stuffy and they were like.. falling asleep. So we had Alfresco GP with everyone on the ledge outside the art room window except the nine (thinks of the coffins... hmm.. ee...) Anyways, had lesson with 21 where i did the current affairs quiz which was also screed up. Wanted to zap for everyone but some teacher had astack of like 500 papers to zap so i tried to print it. Then some other teacher was printing 37 pages... Sian!! So i finally did my final current affairs quiz. And it was too easy.. darn..
After that, i ran out of time giving back essays that i had to hold some of them back. And talked. Then went to the sports com like i always do on mondays, and talked. A lot! Haha, pretend to want to mark essay summore. Hehe. Had a nice chat with Zsa^2 abt many random stuffs. Then she finally had to catch her drama plane. And i still think u have a yellow/PINK wallet. Haha!
Then talked to Shuming too! Had so much to talk abt! Hostel seems more scandalous than ever!!!! Really man! And i think M4-06 will forever remain legendary! Shuming agrees! I think. And shuming, u must behave lar... always go visitors lounge.. aiyo.. at least dun kena caught can? And dun say what i taught u abt the magnetic door and masking tape! All e best for ur EZLINK too.
To Julie- u can do it! U will survive! All e best to u and Jaren too, not for Zhiyuan! Haha! for HC!
Den ate dinner alone and came home alone and marked all the paragraphs from 06. Oh, productive sia!

Only one lesson and i remembered to bring the sweets. YAY. Apparently it wasn't too nice cuz it was too sweet... the Fe-y... dun get it right? Then had nothing else to do so i finished off my gemming with eugene. I won thanks to IMBA wraith slate. Oh Denise came back today!
She had shocking stories to tell of Monfort and the staffroom was alive again wh=ith her being around. And i might consider working where she does. Can you believe it, up to 40 a day in tips?? Yeah, but then Monfort stories were cool, and the info abt 3 years a level restrictions on scholarships.. appaling!!!
Then did e book for Kathleen and Shums, haven done one of those in ages. And then went to 222. Taught a few ppl how to do Rubiks today. They include Sam, Yumei, Zhiyuan, Jaren. And Eugene has a 3x3, 4x4 and 5x5 Rubiks!!!!! I WANT ONE!!! 3X3 is the classic, 4x4 is called Rubik's Revenge, 5x5 is called Rubik's Professor!So cool! 4x4 one makes the 3x3 one look like a noob's toy! So fun! I think Zhiyuan has mastered the first phase of 2x2 solving for the Revenge cube! Yup, had tuition today, bus came late but i think it was my fault. Then i decided to blog. Then i decided to sleep

Guess what, i've been listening to or is it guess what i've been listening to? Either way, it's All of the Above by UNITED! Oh yea. And it rocks! Haha, if any of u have the time to check, i find the e-guitar in Hosanna at 2:37 quite funny. But after a while, it starts to sound cool. Oh, yes, let me tell u my favourite songs from this album (this is so not related to monday, but who cares)

3- Found - although i initially ALWAYS skipped this song in Mighty to Save, they revamped it so well it is actually much easier to listen to. NOTE : I hate songs where the singer/s do/esn't sound natural at all.. like when they have too "ghostly" voices. Refer to Found in MTS or Lead Me To The Cross from AOTA.
4- Future Decided - bridge rocks! (and yes, playing bridge rocks too, but not as much as this!)
5- Saviour King - JoJo, i admit the build up for Still is STILL (pun intended) the nicest, but this when they go into chorus for e 4th time, i love the vocals!

Oh, lemme see.. what happened here... Or rather... what didn't happen.. Carian ar... Ok shall not blame her lar, my fault for not bringing back the GP Resource Package. So 03 had to do an impromtu lesson on advertising. Yes, 06, the whole lesson was NOT planned, but i knew what it was about at least ryte?
Continues and finished my THE (yes, its there for a reason my students..) Mass Media intro and even had to take 06 out of 133 because i felt it was so stuffy and they were like.. falling asleep. So we had Alfresco GP with everyone on the ledge outside the art room window except the nine (thinks of the coffins... hmm.. ee...) # Eat The Fat and Drink The Sweet
Thursday
Lemme fast forward to 21's History lesson. An American lesson, rated X. They were rather fast to reach class which is of course a welcomed rarity. And soon the video was on. Although i had to warn them of the impending nudity and mostly-f-up dialogues.
Once again i needed the miracle of screening 120 minutes in 6000 seconds. Well, i tried to help it along by skipping a family fight scene, and a brother to brother moment and went along with what i think was crucial to the story. Also skipped the journey to school a little. But mostly, it was there.
What was the =.= part of the movie? Watching it for the third time. But it actually connected more the third time i watched it. Yup, and the curb stomping and final scene still hurts everytime i watch it. Today was the end of movie week and it ended with a few in tears, some in disgust while other lost in dreamland. Oh well, i hope some things were actually beneficial, other than expanding ur vocab by one word.
The ending was rather silent and solemn, and didn't have to debrief much. 21 seemed to be stuck to the chair as they were reluctant to leave, but lunch was the greater temptation in the end. I too had to rush for lunch as it was relief for Siok's class next. 09
They were rather, hmm, blur for most of the lesson although i did try my best to teach them essay skills. More of a recap actually, but most of them lost the caps already so it was from the start again. Tried to get responses but most were in this form. "Er". "Huh". So i settled on direct teaching with them taking notes. Dunno if it worked. All e best Siok!
Then it was off to 03 with the final groups presenting. Rather normal, but more quiet than usual. I guess genocides aren't the most "lively", pun intended, thing to study. Then it was the end of my day, so i went to slack with the SC, had a nice dinner with some of the guys and met Hosea and Annabelle both at the hawker opposite TJ. Cool coincidence eh?
Nice night to sleep. Yay.
Friday
Day didn't start off too nicely cuz i couldn't wake up early. Oh well, it was freezig cold too. I need a washing machine too. Irritating. Seriously. Three months of living on my own hsa taught me this. Things that are a must for every house
-WASHING MACHINE
-Ironing board, complete with a working iron.
-Microwave oven
-Water dispenser
-Mattress
And today was a nice day because i got back my EZLink card from Siok who kindly took it for me after i left it at the Siglap CC after badminton. Then she was absent for two days so i had to slowly sneak my way in to the staffroom when other ppl opened the door. Finally!! Freedom.. to be confined in the staffroom.. err.. haa..
Final round of presentations today. 21 started off well and ended rather well too. But it was 06 that was rather sad. I admired the effort put in by Verena and co., but time management needs to be improved so that u won't have to do such rush jobs. Sorry to spoil all ur efforts, but i did try to get the class going but it was a rather slow start....
Then i was free and decided to try, try i say, try to mark GP Newspaper Articles with some o6 ppl at the marquee but it didn't turn out too well. Enjoyed a soya bean drink instead. Of course that was after saying all the best to Sek who was leaving for her match against IJ. I think. Sorry to Yumei for taking so long to buy e soya beans. Haha, Sek more important. Lol. I know guys bball won, even thrashed their opponents. No idea abt b or v ball girls though. Update me ya?
Then it was off to scroom. Slacked a lot. Marked some work. Slacked a little bit more. Talked with Hui Min, met Verena, Aruna, Diantha and a few other current 06 ppl in LT1. LEO meeting apparently. Then finally went down to Cartel but met JoJo on the way. And James too. Yay!
Reached cartel and took our reservation for 25. I thought it was too much but in the end, it was jz nice. YES, 25. Oh, what were we doing there? Celebrating Gabriel and Hubert's bdays. Went across to draw money and im seriously becoming broke with all this ex dining. Met Ying Chuan and Winnie opposite and waited for like an hour for everyone.
Finally Gabriel arrived blindfolded with jeans! Strapped to an iPod to cut off his hearing and led in to Cartel!! Ppl took turns taking pictures with him while he was utterly clueless. Some even bullied him lar... cough..FX...cough...! I must say i was innocent of all this.
Had a big meal of St Louis Pork Ribs! Then even had cake. Yup. Ate the fat and drank... water. Haha. Took 12 back. Yay. Oh, i saw the councillors were at the adventure tower at the time i was passing by TJ. Hope ur emo-stayover was fun.
