God spoke about remembering what had happened, about what He had done. He made the Israelites have a ceremony to mark a momentous event in their history. And I was thinking how "the past" always seems to have a negative/sour note. But in God, there are parts of history that God wants us to remember. Although it reminds them of their freedom from Egypt, it does stir up memories of what Egypt was like. But with God, the past loses its sting.

And the other point is that I should remember the great stuff that God has done for me. I should celebrate 12th July as my Beautiful Exchange day :) How God saw me through my exchange!

And the final point is that God didn't bring them through war. God knows how much hardship I can take. And these few are obviously to help me to continue to grow. Amen
