# The Bible
Definitely something I wouldn't mind looking through. Not quite sure about balance though. If anyone removes anything from this Book, his name's gonna be removed from the Book of Life. Scary thought, but still, to engage this generation?
Is this compromise or the cultural mandate? At least the Illuminated Bible has an "approved" (who has the right to approve anyway) version of te Bible, the Good News Bible. The Manga Bible isn't complete, so will the author suffer in hell? Can a disclaimer that this is not a Bible save him from eternal judgment? And the cute Lego pictures of the Brick Testament? Could it be that this might cause one of the "little ones to stumble" and better that they get a millstone hung around their neck and be cast into the sea?
I love God's word, biblegateway, Youversion, e-sword, davar3, but some things are pushing the line. Would love a copy of The Illuminated Bible though, or even The Word On The Street. No matter how "worldly" these versions are, I must admit the Message has helped me understand some of the Bible passages better. Scary though that the Illuminated Bible is done up by people claiming not to support any religion. I dunno which is sadder, that they are so close to the truth and yet oblivious to it or the fact that non-Christians are engaging culture in a more aggressive way than the Christians who claim this book can be the difference between literal life and death.
