# Two To The Collection
A Wednesday @ Work
Today was crunch day for my GP lessons as i had two doubles with a 30 minute break in between. This time it was 21's turn to get myfirst experiment at a GP double. Did the 2006 quiz which got some of the sleeping people to wake up to a whole world, the size of... many many many many many many many.... many many many... (u get the idea ryte?) many many many many... ( =) many Singapores. And then had the 5Cs done with the Wheel in the GP Journal. By now, 21 was the only class without an appointed GP rep. sad eh. But there is a happy ending so hang in there. And i would say it went smoother cuz this time the projector worked unlike my intro lesson to 04 which i couldn't get it to work so I had to carry this laptop around the class. Amazingly sad. I know. But at least this went fine. Im getting the hang of the different set ups of classes in TJ by now. Rushed the ending of the 5Cs, with one C to go. And jz FYI, the 5Cs here are Choices, Cheek, Consumers, Connectivity and Causes and not the Cash, Car, Condo, Credit card and Club/Career. Then had a short break n repeated for 06. At least 06 i managed my time slightly better n finished the 5Cs. So if u see me not ending lessons on time, u're most likely the Guinea Pig class... or (spoiler ahead) u're my last-lesson-on-a-friday-class. Countermeasures will be put in place to prevent that from happening. Why will it work? Cuz the countermeasure is to jz... sleep more!! Yay!!
Had my first staff meeting which I went to after some RTs had lunch at Katong. Katong Laksa. $3. Wouldn't do it again. Jocelyn didn't join us though and she gets the Most Caring RT Award for giving a remedial within the first week of lessons during her lunch time *Applause*. Yup, Mr Eugene comes in second by wanting to give remedials. Too bad his help wasn't appreciated. Staff meeting was ok with some funny moments. Had basic briefings abt the school and all. Saw the budget TJ has for the year but I shan't disclose anything for the fear of ending up behind bars. N not the chocolate kind which FX, Mei Yian n I shared on the way to Bugis. That was a big yummy Cadbury Marble Choc bar. Psst, they can really eat!
Then I went to crash the SCIP interviews. Okay, not the interviews, but rather be the extra who sat outside. Then after it was all over, went into the room to hear some discussions. And a spoiler for the SCIP camp in 7 hours, I saw the X-Poh, Yew-nose and Bed-OK pictures being taken. And had the Ms Yew moment of my life when she tip-toed to watch soccer guys. Gave her a stool to stand on. Aand its a long story. Ask Cheryl or Me and we'll tell you what happened k? And Ms Yew, I really felt bad for throwing Di Hui (the soft toy lar) at your face. Sorry sorry! Yup. It was a memorable moment in the Leadership Centre. N btw, sorry goes out to Claire as well for teaching her "wrong" physics abt power n resistance.
Had "dinner" with the SC n went home. Nice Wednesday
Thursday
Lemme get straight to the point. Thursdays are not what I look forward too. My timetable only has ONE gp lesson. AT 3.00PM!!! but i have to be in sch at 7.25. so its a 7.5 hour wait. N thats what I did. Crashed a pw at 2.10 for 06 and they have some serious issues abt pre-marital sex. Cuz that's all they can think abt when it came to celebrity culture. Btw, 04 is doing Online Successes and the New Generation of Technoprenuers. 21 has Clubbing and Teenage Alcoholism. Check them out at 04, 06 and 21 respectively.
So aft the long wait with all the time in the world. I step into my major mistake of 2007. I walk into a class of 9 people. The rest had KI and I was left with no lesson. English wasn't gonna happen. So the next 40 minutes had the Pilot episode of the Evening Show with Mr Wilson as I talked with them till I ran out of ideas n sent them off for early PE. That was a really bad mistake. Never assume ur students will be there for ur lesson. Council lesson which I am still learning. Crashed SCIP once again, but talked more with the SC. Helped Caroline with vectors. Had dinner. Jess, dun stress k? U can do it. Talked abt SC n stepping down. Hillarious. Mass dance test with fun dance. Plain hillarious.
Reached home, did my ironing. Was faster this time n got to sleep. Before all that, I got blessed with a second dinner too with aunty buying food for uncle. Had extra so the extra ate the extra, but there were still some extras, so aunty n her daughter finished the extras. Lesson : dun use the same word too many times in an essay, use a thesaurus. Yup. Friday was coming

It came. But by now, we had already set up a memorial for dear Denise. And here is the picture of the site (ignore giant snake trying to devour it). Yup, that's ur hair pin Denise. Claim it at results day ya
So that was it. Had a long Friday, and 04 suffered from my tired Friday syndrome as I forgot abt the 2006 affairs quiz n had to rush the 5Cs. I must hold the record for fastest 5Cs lesson. 20 minutes. Wow, but nothing to be proud of. And the happy ending for 21 is that Zsa^2 was elected the GP rep, joining Anantha and Prasanthi. And all in all, the English Fair seemed to be rolling along. The next part of the day was the good part. The wonderful Emmanuel Music Prac was on! N although it started at 8, instead of 7.30, it was good. So this is it for an ardous long post. Txs for staying tuned. Emmanuel's Music Team is up next!
